Click on this button on any post [Not on this post ] and submit a message, tell us if there was a link posted, if someone broke a rule, was rude towards another member or any violation of the TJ rules.

This method will let us moderators know that we have to look into the post or thread.

It will really help us make a difference and you can help with this.

Thanks for the info

In the past, I have spotted a few bad posts from some pretty warped thinkers.
I do hope that it isn't necessary to use this too often. I hope that we all have the same purpose and that is to lift each other up in Christ.
Reporting bad posts is a good idea. A special prayer for the administrator and the moderators, that they are able to participate in sharing the love of Christ and not have to deal with people that aren't serious about loving the Lord.
May hearts be lifted to the Lord.

Hi sister Pixie, thank you for the response.

This button or "feature" has always been on the forum, my aim was just to let the members know what it does and that it may help us.

The problem is, we are just human and we can't always spot each and every post, so the community effort to make sure that God is the center of all discussion and that the simple forum rules are obeyed is the objective.

Much thanks teraside. I wasn't aware of that function, but will certainly use it if I spot anything inappropriate. Satan is so busy attempting to create problems for followers of Christ. It's great that he has already been defeated. This is a wonderful site, and I pray that it remains a true forum for the edification of our Lord and Savior.

Certainly!

Having a non-denomination Christian board of my own, I know how hard it is to keep such a site Christ-centered and free of the petty bickering and divisiveness that corrupt so many other Christian websites. I have seen a number of forums which began with the best of intentions dissolve into anarchy and ultimately cease operation due to heated debates between members of various denominations, or because of argumentative non-Christians ridiculing the faith and troll spam (the worst!).

So far I have been very impressed by the Talk Jesus forums. Everything is so nice and peaceful. To be honest, Talk Jesus is the only forums other than my own where I have found this atmosphere of genuine Christian fellowship and it has been so refreshing and edifying to become a part of the community here.

The stability and tranquility here are definitely worth maintaining and I'll do my part to help out.
