Hey guys, I'm 15 and from Canada. Where I live it is very multicultural and I love it. My problem comes when muslims start asking me questions about Jesus. They constantly tell me I'm wrong. Everyday it's like 10 muslims against me. They ask me a question and I'm ready to answer it but then another person ask me a question. It is really overwhelming. I come here to seek advice with this issue because I am 15, and I'm in my journey with God, and these muslims are making me think twice about what I believe. I would like to ask for prayer and advice on how to deal with this. Thanks, God Bless :)

Pray for them, but don't engage them any further regarding your faith in Jesus. In fact, if they aren't open to the gospel message, you shouldn't be spending time with them. They will work to erode your faith, and draw you away from Jesus. Be friendly, but don't bother engaging them about religion. Seek Christians to fellowship with. When you grow more mature, and the LORD has shown you how to defend the faith against the lost, then you can sharpen your sword and stand strong.

Remember, what you have in Christ is real. God reveals Himself to those who humble themselves. They are blindly clinging to a religion. I pray the LORD will encourage you and give you wisdom and strength to stand strong in the face of opposition. In Jesus' name I pray.

Also, be sure to pray on the armor of God every morning. The LORD will protect you when you call upon His provision (emphasis mine):

Ephesians 6:11-18
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

Here is another scripture that may be relevant to your situation:

Matthew 7:6
“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

If people don't have an ear for the gospel, and it can be very apparent very quickly, don't bother sharing the gospel. Jesus warns it may drive people to simply attack you, and it's not worth it if they don't want to know the truth.

God does not force anyone to accept His Son.

Thanks for your reply, it will help me a lot in my daily life as I move forward from today. I also don't try to talk to them about religion, they come up to me and talk about things and then they start talking about religion. But I have noticed there is no point in sharing the gospel because they are firm in their belief and won't budge, they won't even accept there being another possibility. It just causes trouble. Thank you again for your encouraging words :)

Just stay away from them, they just want to argue and try to prove their religion.

Avoidance would be the best policy but it's not always possible
If you can't avoid them then give them enough rope to hang themselves.
Ask them if all Muslims believe the same things. There are many sects in the Muslim religion and some violently oppose other Muslim sects even more that they oppose Judaism or Christianity.
Ask them if it's OK to drink alcohol or if you have to visit Mecca.
Ask them if a woman must be covered.
They may just start arguing among themselves.
There is a site called muslimhope that is made by Christians to explain the differences between Muslim's beliefs and give Christians a logical and spiritual defense.

Thanks guys
@jiggyfly - you perfectly nailed what I should do.
@Thiscrosshurts - Thanks for you're advice but I will only ask them those things if my problem keeps taking place.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. matt 7:6

there is no fellowship between light and darkness. the spirit within them is a liar and wants to decieve you. they are decieved themselves. they are your enemy. If God isnt ministering thru you to them dont talk about it with them. if you dont know if God is ministering thru you then he probably isnt. if this isnt enough to sway your mind then consider this. america was discovered because they wanted to find a new trade route to china. even way back then people didnt want to deal with them.

edited portion: if avoidance isnt possible ask them this question. do muslims believe Jesus Christ is a prophet. (yes) now ask them this question. If he is a prophet why do muslims not believe his words- do muslims just pick and choose what thier religious beliefs are? (oh burn.)

The supernatural healing of Jesus is real evidence of Christianity, and pastors like Benny Hinn fearlessly travel nation to nation to break all boundaries of religion and government rules, by proving to the world that miraculous healing can only come from our real Christian Son of God, Jesus Christ. People walk on the stage in front of Benny Hinn, who for so long sufffered leg disablity and will no longer use the wheelchair to move themselves once Jesus is accepted as their healer and savior forever. Jesus is our healer of all diseases when we focus our faith together with his supernatural Faith as we are united spiritually as one giant family of God. When Jesus returns in the future to transform us Christian believers into new glorious minds and bodies of Christ, Satan will be defeated and sin will be deleted, so that the fullness of Christ's supernatural joy will keep our hearts and faces smiling forever. Satan's sin will no longer create dishonesty and cruelty once we socialize together in peace and harmony in the most modern and most massive place of community: the Kingdom Of God on a new oceanless planet Earth. No more drug-trafficking, home violence and terrorrist attacks as these gruesome evil actions will become a memory-like museum exhibits somewhere hidden in the underground basement of our future new minds of Christ because our feelings will be too overjoyed with the supernatural healing of Christ every second of our deathless new perfect lives of Christ. Victory is ours for sure and there's nothing Satan can do to turn back the clock to prevent the coming of our Lord Jesus because God knows our future including Satan's future.:*:.

All roads lead to god!

Hi BenCrew,
I am Chris from Manchester England, I to am having problems with my faith at the moment in that I may have a calling that I do not understand. So I can understand how frustrating it is when you cannot give an answer.

Islam teaches (Basically) that there is only one god and that mohamed was his LAST profit, indeed there have been many and you may recognise them when you here there names, Moses, Noah, Isiah ect, they believe in jesus and hold him in such a high regard that he is mentioned in there holy book the Qur'an (koran).

Indeed islam has more in common with Christianity then many understand and those who try to ask you questions that are meant to catch you out are simply unfaithfull to there religion, for instead of teaching they are they are showing there ignorance.
Islam exists because of what happend in the old testiment, Abraham had many sons 2 of which were Issac and Ismael, the christian traditions come from the line of Issac while the Islamic traditions follow Ismael.
These people are trying to catch you out and if they were good muslims then they would'ent do that, I am Christian but I have friends who are muslim.
We have more in common then we think!
A good christian will listern to others when speaking of there religions so when these Muslim guys start asking you questions simply say
Tell me of your religion and I will listen! and then I will tell you of mine!

Peace be with you!
Chris.

Muslim believers need Jesus the same as any other unsaved person. I an so thankful you are wise enough to ask for prayer. Not many christians could deal with so many trying to make you back down from your faith. Islam is not based on love, but on hate and evil. The Qu'ran tells Muslims to lie and do whatever it takes to mislead you. Muslims believe Christians and Jerws should be wiped off the face of the earth litterally! Muslims call Israel the "little satan" and the United States "the big satan". I would guess they would lump Canada with the US. These Muslims are in no way interested in listening to you witness to them. Jesus said we should not cast our pearls before swine, meaning we are to be wise in our witnessing and watching we do not suffer harm if we can avoid it.

Ask your pastor and parents what they think would be good advice in handling this situation. Please take care in what you say and do. I would suggest very strongly not to get alone with a croud of these people, use your wisdom from God. Most importantly pray for these Muslims and ask God to protect you and to give you wisdom.

For a young lady of 15 you are really doing what most christians never have the chance to do. God bless you!
