The Holy Spirit impressed a word upon my mind when I read this..."He will quiet you with his love"...so I looked it up...

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

This is the most beautiful assurance a child of God could hope for and all he or she needs to really know to be at peace ....prayer....run to Daddy...He will quiet you....and how does He do that? By reassuring you of His boundless love for you...a boundless love that says, "cast ALL your cares upon me, and I will take care of these things that trouble you"....and a boundless power that says.."what is impossible for you child, is not too difficult for Me"

Father says some of my children have no peace...because they do spend enough time alone with me...and let Me quiet them...they are so busy trying to prove themselves to Me...they try to do what only I can do by appeals and arguments and all sorts of cute acts of independence... and they refuse my rest....

The LORD your God ...did you notice the words "great delight"?

Father takes far greater delight in our trust...than our trying......as a matter of fact...He takes GREAT delight in our just spending time with Him..letting Him rejoice over us...sing to us...

Our prayers are only as effective as our willingness to admit to our own helplessness...first...

The LORD your God is with you...right here...right now...

Read His words again.... "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.”

Wow, who knows Father does`nt even mind repeating Himself over and over and over...until you calm down....thats how He quiets me.............quiet whispers of 'I love you' will calm the most distraught and sobbing child. <3
