Here's What I Like

Do you ever get bored or restless and try to go to other Christian sites to see what they have to offer?

Last night, I went to the silliest site I have ever seen, and it's name had the word "christian" in it. Oh, it looked real good initially. It had lots of neat functions and you could even adopt a digital pet online in your account. (I'm really showing my immaturity here, eh? I chose a horse. I chose his color as golden and I named him Palomino.)

But I couldn't have my precious Palomino. I had to post 500 posts first! Yikes!

Well, I really hadn't looked at any of the posts at all yet.:embarasse But I was fully registered.

So off I go to look at posts and respond to posts. What I found was the silliest group of forums and posts that I have ever seen. Nothing was about Jesus. Nothing had any substance. There was no sense of bible study, there wasn't even any sense of fellowship among believers.

Then I remembered that I will always have my account at talk Jesus, even after I start back in school and won't have time to be a moderator any more.

I will always be able to come back here and cry on someone's shoulder. (like my brother teraside) I will always be able to go in the prayer room inside the chat area, and pray. And sometimes, LLJ will come quietly in and start praying with me

Please support Chad in what he is doing. We don't ever want to lose Talk Jesus. He needs your prayer and your support. And please be respectful to him. You do not realize, and I do not realize, what he goes through each day to keep this site on board and clean.

You're so right, I've been apart of other sites that seem.. just " cool " .
The members were more interested in dating or debating. I'm not promoting ( if a guest is reading ), but being completely honest when I say this site, is real.
The devotions, bible chat ,the community, based with one thing in common God. He is the center of this site, which keeps me coming.
The responses by members and moderators are quick,when in need of pray.
God has truly bless Chad with this, and I know it is a huge responsiblity.
This is more than a site, it's a ministry, that I'm proud to be a part of.

Chad you've created a haven for the lost and broken hearted thank you.

I thank God for this site. Chad is doing a very good job at managing this site and I want him to know that he will always be in my prayers. This is the best Christian site I have ever been to, without a doubt. I feel sorry for the Christian sites that are filled with filth and things that have nothing to do with Jesus or the Bible.

I will miss not talking to you as much, Dreamer. I will also pray for you and your schooling. May God be in everything you do. God bless

Your so very kind Thank you for your post sister Dreamer and kind understanding rizen1 and Cody2.

GOD has done amazing things here and I think He has truly set this Christian forum apart from the rest. All glory to Him. Even more glory to Him for being merciful to me while I mess up in my personal life and still try to maintain some form of godly leadership here without letting my personal issues get in the way.

Jesus, this is for Your glory and name's seek!

I hope and pray that this blessing of a site continues to grow further in its member base, further in it's feature offerings while maintaining a stable environment and family friendly atmosphere. I love adding new features but as Dreamer mentioned about the other site she visited, some new things may change the purpose of the site and steer it into more of an entertainment "Christian" site WITHOUT Jesus. This is something we do not want to happen for sure.
