Pslam34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
It's easy to praise God when things are looking good and going our way, but what about the times when we face trials in our lives and things aren't so good and we feel tired and down and like giving up? In Pslam 34 David didn't say sometimes I will praise Him or only in the good times I will praise Him...what he said was I will praise Him at all times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth. Life is hard there is no doubt about that and our enemy satan would love nothing more than for us to lie down and give up, my brothers, sisters and friends instead of giving up when things are their worst we need to get on our knees and lift our hands in praise. Praise God for being the unchangable God He is and for being in control even when things seem so out of control. Praise Him because He is creator of heaven and earth and everything on, above and below. Praise Him for being the God that heals, delivers, sustains, gives strength, provides shelter, and is our help in ever present times of trouble. Praise Him for being right there with you in the storm and bringing you through just as He did for daniel in the lions den, the three in the fiery furnace, joseph was delivered and lifted to be prince of egypt, David came against a gaint way bigger than he was but he went into that battle praising God and we know who won, Noah and his family protected from the flood, the israelites delivered from the bondage of slavery in egypt and brought to safety...how many times did God in the bible show that He is there and will bring us through and He is still that same God today and will bring us through whatever situation or hard times we are going through. Praise Him because when we do we send a clear message to satan that " maybe we are down right now but we will not stay down because with Jesus on our side we are victorious! We will not be destroyed because Jesus is our side and has never left! Praise Him because He is and will always will be...He is the one who was alive, then dead and alive again! Praise Him because He loves you and has given you eternal life in heaven!
Lord Jesus,
Help us to Praise you in both the good times and when things aren't so good.Help us to keep your praises in our hearts, minds and in our mouths at all times. We thank you for being the unchangable, unshakable and all powerful God that you are and we love You because You first loved us! We lift up or praises to you right now Lord and thank you for being our savior, best friend, our sustainer, provider, our help in ever present times of trouble, our healer, our refuge and our strength. We thank and Praise You for being all we will ever need Lord and for the forgiveness you have given through the shedding of your precious blood, death and resurrection so that we might be reconciled to God the Father and have eternal life with you in heaven! Help us to love as you have loved us Lord and help us to live our lives according to your ways and truths. We love you Lord and ask that Your will be done. In your name we pray Amen and Amen!
