I have always loved music, I started learning guitar from church freinds. But then I have never played better than I ever wanted. I have always felt left, especially at church like I dont belong, wenever they play, I mean I wanna be part of it. But Im not so good in it, and I envy them for playing better. It really affects my relationship towards the other youth... and the ministry. Anyway, there is another factor, I like alternative rock and acoustic music, and i often practice on such songs... Im really upset at times, Its like they dont want me anyway, Ill learn fo myself and play such songs... but i have to admit its so lonely...

All with God's help:

Ask for time
Ask for patience
Ask for the means to an end

Everything is possible with God, why not take professional lessons for a music instrument, or get voice coaching? You may never know, you may have the voice that could be likened to that of an Angel, the only thing you need to do is work at those talents.

Time, patience, means.

God bless
Much love

When I first joined the youth worship band, I would always compare myself with the other singers, that I wasn't good enough , didn't sound like them. But it was something I loved, always disappointed when I didn't get any leads.

This went on for a couple of months, then I realised that I was not enjoying it. Jealousy, Anger , every selfish feeling was upon me. I was so concerned about me, me, me, and I, I, I, that I forgot the true meaning of Worship, it's not about me, the singers or the musicians , but about God.

When we put down our flesh, and give God the glory, you get to see things differently. It's all about God's timing, not what we want. I had to be patient, within 2yrs I became a youth worship leader. God was teaching me stuff along the way, it was worth the wait.

My advise take all your emotions to God,and also share it with a leader. You don't want your emotions to rob you from doing what you love.

Thanks
