Romans 12:16

Be
of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

I'm having trouble with my coworkers, they talk nasty, are hateful, when they're nice it's only temporary and fake. I work harder than them and pick up their slack. They take smoke breaks and bathroom breaks every 15 minutes. I have strong work ethic and do what needs to be done right away. I'm not meaning to sound haughty but this is just the way it is! How do I love these people?

Look at them through His eyes. See them through Love's gaze- He prayed for tho ones nailing Him to the cross , showing only mercy.

That does not mean you will be at peace with everyone; it does insure you will keep a right heart- you are not responsible for their actions, but are responsible for your own.

Yes I agree with Boanerges

And ask the Lord to melt your heart with compassion for these colleagues who are on the road to eternal destruction

And if you feel anger stirring due to their actions turn it instead into prayer for their souls

May they see Jesus in you @ThankJesus and seek Him and be saved

Bless you brother

For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Hebrews 12:3

Within each person is a soul so precious that Christ gave everything for it.

It is the flesh that does these things that annoy and hurt.

Without Christ, we are all apt to be that way.

We must look on others as a precious soul on their way to destruction. Christ has chosen us to be His voice, hands, love, etc to them.

It is only the love of Christ in our hearts that will enable us to do this.

Thank you all, you're advice is enormous and I've been applying it today. What do you know...it works! Haha, of course it does it was spoken by The Holy Spirit.

Here's a dilemma: my boss and my coworker are Christian and go to church. They rarely ever show anything for it though.

Claiming the name and going to church does not make one a Christian......... "By their fruits you shall know them"

Not saying they are not Christians, perhaps they are but are weak. Regardless of whether they are or not; be an example, a light, a witness. You may encourage and help a Christian or you may win a soul for Christ.

Greetings from Lake of the Ozarks, neighbor ! I have worked in heavy industry too. I wasin a better position as i worked as a carpenter / welder, while in the Carpenters Union. I had one of the most nasty, filthly, General Foreman that I ever ran into. It was out of reaching the end of my rope that I told him to call the truck I was going back to the hall. We had four younger children, so this was a very serious action for me to take. I was out of prayer's, out of everything I could do to keep my cool. When I got to the Union hall they had a call for a Carpenter ? Welder in the scaffold crew. I went back to work the very next day and the work seamed so much betterm and the time went by faster. Sometimes if we can't work with the situation and we have done most all we know how to do, it's better to get out of the situation.

When we think and feel, and prayerd over a problem and we can't go any other way but around the block in our way, we walk by faith and ask the Lord to show us the way around. It may not be the Lords will to make a move at all, and unless we have some direction from God maybe we need to stay put. But be in constant prayer for the Lords direction. blessings.

I spent the weekend with a couple of friends I met in college, and happened to meet them both at the church I went to while attending college. They're both Christian, but also don't hardly have anything to show for it. I had an okay weekend with them, but am glad it's over because of their sexually immoral nature. One of them seems more interested in the evil spirits than what is holy. He's fascinated with ghosts, demons, spirits, etc. In fact he bought a book called "Demons" while we were at a book store over the weekend. I found out my other friend had lost his virginity and has been with a few girls now, plus he's an alcoholic. What a tiresome weekend with some of my "best" friends, I saw the good in them, we had some good laughs, and had a lot of fun, but when I look back at them I just want to pray for their souls.
