How do you get over a divorce?

How do one get over a divorce. I mean I am kind of shook because of former relationships, because I know how something that you thought was so good can go so bad. It is draining to go through it again, knowing that we both bring in flaws that the enemy will magnify and cause both parties so much pain. I do desire to be married again, but how do I get out of this mind state. And one more thing is it okay to get involved with a woman when you are not yet financially stable.
 
He that is in us is stronger than he that is in the world. 1 John 4.4

Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Matt.6.33.

Marriage which works has God in the middle. It is something which has to be worked at too. The enemy cannot win as he is a defeated foe.

Some people will move into a relationship too soon and is not a wise thing to do. When you are like this you are very vulnerable and do it on the rebound.

Getting over a divorce takes time as it is so like losing someone who dies. You still go through the grieving process.

Who will you listen to? God or the enemy? The choice is yours at the end of the day.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Roms.12.2.
Take every thought captive to the obedience of God. 2 Cor.10.5

You need to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and lead you.

Hi Salvosation,

To me being financially stable is relative,but you should know that a man is supposed to work all the days of his life:shock: Genesis 3:17.

Therefore for as long as you are working and doing your best to provide for your family i think its alright.

As for getting over divorce,repent your part in it so that he devil will have nothing to accuse you of before God,then ask God to create a clean and new heart in you.

Let Psalms 51:10 be your constant prayer and you will see God will do according to his word.
