About the Good News of Jesus?
I just talk to people - or more importantly, listen. I really do believe all are looking to fill the emptiness in their souls. They just look in the wrong places.
It is about how to pick your moment. I just watch for any sign of chance to chat and work up to it. It can be in the bus queue, hospital waiting room. Opportunities are everywhere.
A good example is a thing that intrigues me. When someone says they are 'not religious' but they are wearing a cross. There's your conversation starter! Always they have a reason they had not consciously thought about. It is vital to listen without interrupting. Hardly anyone is good at that but you can train yourself!
I am quietly direct, I know most people love to talk about themselves. I ask why they are wearing the cross. Once they are relaxed and chatting, I tell them my testimony. What Jesus has done for me, the peace and strength I have been given.
If by doing this you can set a person on the path to seek Jesus, you have the great feeling that just one soul could be on the way to salvation.
