Matt 16:24-26, Matt 10:35-39 verse 38 A powerful statement!! And he who does not take his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me. Now first? Just what is our cross?
It is not carved in wood,nor made of stone,BUT is it a cross that can be seen. The cross is the very POWER!!! AND!!!! WISDOM!! Of our Jesus!( 1 cor 1:18-31!!!) For which ones of us that have Christ in us,are not made more powerful and wise in his great Name?? ( john 14:10-14!)( Luke 10:19-24!!)
The Cross is both power from God himself,and his very wisdom!!( 1 cor 1:30.1 cor 2:16) Providing!!! You carry this cross daily!! Talk as everyone here knows is cheap,unless on sees!! not just others see,but we ourselves see!!( James 1:22)and DO!!
Doing make words powerful for us!And power from those words creates both wisdom,and results! This is a meat lesson today for us all,few talk about just what the cross really is,most think of a cross as 2 pieces of wood coming together to form a cross.
Well that form is in us!Jesus Christ the righteous! We in him have died to our old way of life,we suffer in flesh because of this.( john 15:18-27!!) OUR Helper is in us!! Jesus himself!!( colossians 1:26-29!!) verse 29 For the purpose also I labor, striving according to HIS Power, which mightily works within me! Works act,then they speak! The purpose of works is so we can speak,to testify of our own testimony in Christ!
To show our transformation from death,unto life!( 2 Cor 5:17-21) I present the Word so you yourself can see! To test if what I am saying to you is true. The cross we carry is not burdensome,for it is our very life in Christ Jesus. To the flesh it can be! Flesh is for self,Christ is for us all! LOVE! Now, with this in mind,how far can we carry the cross?
Rather how far are we willing to carry this cross?( Gal 2:20) When hard times come,will we still have the cross in us? Or will our words betray Jesus in us,and we ourselves? For fear has no part of Christ,nor does worry.( matt 6:25-34)
For those who stay on the cross,or in Christ,have no worry!They have no reason to fear! They have died already! and have been reborn unto a new creature!! Yea but mark you do not understand!! It is so hard!! I know it!! It is!!
That is why my brothers and sister we cannot go, not even one day!! Without the Word of God in our lives!( eph 6:12) That is why after this we find out how!! and with what!! Everyday is not a battle?? It sure is a battle! But a battle WON!! because we do not win it!! Jesus in us does! If we carry him with us!Our Resurrected Cross!
And so my brothers and sisters, we find that since all of us have weakness in one way or another,we also help one another! What God has made us strong in, we give to others,so they may become strong as well! What I am weak in, you can help me as well!
That is why we confess our faults one to another,not to be judged!! But to be encouraged,build up, helped!( james 5:15-16) The Word ,yes my brothers and sister always!! the Word! For the Word is the cross as well! ( john 1:1)
Could God himself have created anything without first speaking it?( rom 4:17) Jesus is our hope, our cross,yes our very love!( verse 18) We are HIS descendants!! That is what the Word says,and Jesus is the Word,and Jesus is our cross,and Jesus is our only salvation!
May this get you to think,consider,yes hope,may this light which came from Jesus Christ in me,give you all the faith to indeed carry him,even as he has carried us!
