How He Loves

thanks for that Coconut, absolutely amazing. That little word so is very revealing to the depth of God's love for us.

The adverb so means extremely, oh Hallelujah!!! He loves us extremely!!!

I remember hearing a sermon on John 3:16 many, many years ago and the preacher said that the "so" in that verse while being so little was full of expression, he said that it meant "indescribable". Wow "For God indescribably loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.

If that Song don't light your fire, then your wood is all wet!

Sitting here this morning with what seems like trouble on every side, this song has reminded me of something tremendous.

35 Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture: 36 They kill us in cold blood because they hate you. We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one. 37 None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. 38 I'm absolutely convinced that nothing - nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, 39 high or low, thinkable or unthinkable - absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us. 8:35-39 (the Message)

Indescribable Love...I did`nt know that about that word...incredible!...my eyes are full of tears...sometimes when these little revelations come, it feels as thought my heart will burst with longing to be swallowed up in these 'knowing' moments so life can never cause me to forget them!
 
Indescibable love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast;

Love never ends, it is deep and eternal, it surpasses all things.

The preeminence of Christ in all things and the preeminence of God's eternal love
for His creation. That is what underpins our magnificent reconciliation.

An indescribable love is the fabric we are clothed in and it is all Christ from start to finish.
It is also the one great commandment that we have been given.
