Many here,have some how gotton the wrong preception of how some view works. Through Jesus in me,here is my view on this,I hope my talking about this,many will come to understand not only what works is,but why, and how we have them. Buckle in children!!
When a lion, is born, it is taught by its parents to hunt,works.When a little baby bird is born,it is taught how to fly.works. When we humans are born, we are also taught, Nature! Many are taught in different ways how to live best in this world,we are taught.nature!
My personal teaching was unlike many here,as many here are different as well from another. But the point is,we are taught to have works,good or bad.
Works are not the salvation of one,but rather brothers and sisters,they are the very nature,of what we become in life.My works,taught from nature was to be very cold,to never allow emotion to ever show,I was taught that crying is for women,men never do this,and when disciplined, if we did cry,we were hit that much harder.
The nature of my father on earth was to teach me,that no matter what happens to us in life,make others fear you!! You have no fear,because fear is weak,and causes us a change in anothers nature,by works! Meaning fear can alter another nature!And if one is able to alter the nature of another,then there works against you will be as there nature. meaning weak,works brought on,by a weak nature.
I hope that is no to deep! Jesus Christ altered my nature! Thereby altering my works to my nature as well! Hugging another when they felt bad was not my nature,but in Christ,as tough as this is on my mind,I can do this now.works!( john 14:12) truly truly I say unto you, he who believes in ME,the works!! (or the very nature taught by God, and his Word which of course is to love) I DO,shall he DO also!! Works!! or acting in the nature that we have been taught by the Lord!
Works does not SAVE!!Works is just the new result,we have,because of taking on our new nature in Christ!( 1 john 4:4-6) If we take on the very nature of Christ,then we have to have works,a lion born, who's nature is not taught to hunt, its works!! Sure will not live long in the jungle,nor will a bird live long if it does not take on the very nature,or teaching of the mother or father bird to fly! WORKS!
If the bird cannot fly,it will die! It will die, as will the lion,if they do nor have works! because works does not save life,it sustains LIFE!
It keeps it going,until the nature of God calls us home to be with him! So that HIS nature will save US In the end,That is our faith!. We are taught from nature what to have,so that by our works we can stay alive of that nature we are taught!
Jesus nature is to love,and the works of that love are given to the Body of Christ so we may work to carry on the very nature of Jesus in us. Nature teaches,works preforms the nature. And faith carries the nature right back to Jesus whom created us! And who alone can save us!
That to me is the meaning to having works,Faith without works is dead,and now you understand why that is so. Salvation can only be given by our nature,Jesus Christ,and if we do truly believe this,then our works in his service prove the nature we have taken in him.
I know some have had a problem understanding what works really is,or they believe others have a problem understanding. I can only speak for myself,this is how I myself define what works is,how it came about,and how we in Christ live this out today.( james 2:26) Make no mistake,if we do not have works,yet say we have the nature of God,we make ourselves out to be liars.( james 1:22)
For if we have truly taken on the very nature of our Jesus,we will have works! And if we do not have works,from the nature,we will die spiritualy!! For what is there to sustain our life,if we do not follow the nature taught by Jesus for us??
This my brothers and sisters is how I myself define what works is,where it came from,and who it is for. I hope this has blessed you,as Jesus has blessed me, by teaching me this very important lesson on nature,and works!! Love in Christ to the Body of Christ!!

I think that was pretty much as clear as you could possibly make it! Next time I end up in a debate over works I'm just going to send that person over to your thread
