How powerful is God's love?

on occasion, we might stumble and certainly take a steep fall when on our

walk with our lord but he may always do something that's rather odd; we

sometimes doubt the power he has. However, if you take a look over in

the book of romans, specifically chapter 8, it shows how our lord is

certainly our friend during these times.

Verse 31 is great "If God is for us, who can be against us?" Nobody because God will judge onto those and always be by our side.

Verse 33 "It is God who justifies" Verse 35 "who shall separate us from the love of christ?"

it all adds up into a very beautiful climax starting with Verse 37 and ending with Verse 39 "Neither height nor depth , nor anything else in all creation, will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our lord"

Nothing can take us away from what the lord has given us and that is his undenying love and affection for us! Be strong in christ friends and always remember that Jesus christ loves you.

Thank you lord, the glory is all yours.

What a wonderful topic!

God's love.

O how He loved us and gave His only begotten Son for us..... the thought of which is enough to melt any heart that truely considers such love.

Bless you solidsnakeslug ....><>

Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
Song of Solomon 8:7

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10

In agreement with Br. Bear..God's Love.... What a wonderful subject

Unfathomable, unmeasurable, perfect and so very beautiful...... but the most amazing thing.....He loves me.....His love saved a wretch like me!

Does His love stop when we fail?
Does He close His ears to our prayers?
Does He turn away when we wander?

Praise the Lord His love never fails no matter what.

Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3

And I am lost in absolute wonder and awe trying to contemplate the very depths of the power of His love....my unworthiness..and what it cost Him at Calvary.

His love demands our all. Eternity will not be long enough to sing His praises.

Thank you so much for this post solidsnakeslug ....it is so beautiful to dwell on the love of the Saviour and His exhaustless love.

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward to Thy glorious rest above!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!
How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore!
How He watches o'er His loved ones, died to call them all His own;
How for them He intercedeth, watcheth o'er them from the throne!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
'Tis an ocean vast of blessing, 'tis a haven sweet of rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, 'tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

Samuel Francis 1875

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38,39
