all i know is it has become a no big deal about tattos and micro chips , as we see these become more common place im afraid even some christains will step up to get one in ignorance of the repercussions May God grant us wisdom as the comming days present such challanges and may we remeber to run the Good race for the sake of the cross no matter what the cost is .! even if i HAD TO HAVE A MARK OR CHIP TO SURVIVE , i will trust God to be my provider not the liar of this world ..Rev

There is talk that the government is going to require all who receive benefits from the government to take a chip. If they do, it will not be the mark of the beast until the angel comes and warns the world.

they have already been busy making laws, such as the ndaa, which i as well as the constitution has been against since it came about, many even christians welcomed.
rev t.s. perkins is right on.... in the book of daniel, he didnt want to eat the meat sacrificed to idols. he didnt have to either. God will make a way and provide. however what christians need to realize is death in Gods will and time is victory, not defeat. PRAISE AND GLORY TO GOD FOREVER.

And as we behold now in this present time many have gone about to exactly make their own version of morality by making wrong as right, and right as wrong; and evil as good, and good as evil; and darkness as light, and light as darkness. I think a soft and subtle approach will be taken, forcing or passing a law will be violating human rights. Probably what they will do is make it very hard, financially, for anyone who doesn't have a chip, such as higher prices, stores only accepting chip and not accepting cash or credit card etc. Much like it is getting hard to survive today without a credit card - can't book a hotel room, can't hire a car etc. Cashless society will become cardless society as we move towards a implantable chip based society. The world is not yet a cashless society, so still some time to go yet.

Nonetheless, it may not be a chip for a few reasons:
The language used in the bible indicates a visible outward stamp on the skin, not an implanted item.
The chip by itself is meaningless without the beast and his or her intent to control the world's commercial system. Computer chips containing medical information or for tracking animals is extremely useful. There is no reason why it has to be a chip - it could be a simple tattoo on the hand or forehand, as the bible text indicates.

When scripture refers to the forehead or hand that could mean as we think, and how we earn our living. It does not have to mean a "chip" of any kind. Sounds too much like "left Behind" that the multi volume set sold for more than a good set of Commentary's would have cost, and they would have not been "fiction" Tim Lahey made a bundle of those books, and it was done with a partner who did not believe in the trinity! Scaring people into making Jesus Christ LORD is very wrong in my opinion. Making the Bible into fictional events really makes me sick. We have enough false teachers and false preachers who use fiction, we don't need a multi volume set of Left Behind, that should have been left behind in someone's mind, instead of on paper.

If the bible didn't mean right hand it could have said hands. The mark will be something physical. I only read part of Tim Lahey's first book. I didn't agree with some of what he was teaching.

I think we need to look at the culture a the time this was written. Perhaps a better understanding of how the Romans controlled the people and everything the people did, might bring some light.
They had only their hands and head o work. I doubt very seriously a "chip" "social Security number" will have anything o do with it.

Today it seems every person has a tattoo, and ones that seem not to have one, even small one, hidden under their shirt. The mark of the beast could be enforced by requiring every tattoo shop to tattoo an identification number on the person, even hidden in the tattoo of a tiger, bird, skull or whatever the person is getting.

the whole idea of the mark of the beast is to get you to worship the beast. worship is a choice because God made us free will beings in which we choose. A good example of this is the analogy we get from the book of daniel. if you down bow to the image when the music plays .... you die. The good news here is not one hair on them 3 hebrew boys was singed and not even the smell of smoke on their clothes after the king of babylon threw them into the fire.
my point is while yes it will be thru deception to get one to worship the beast or the image or recieve the mark, you wont get the mark without knowing.

Each of us are unique in how God created us. A tattoo can be cut off and a chip can be cut out. Both will steal your identity. The mark of the beast will be unique. Our DNA is unique, as well as our pulse, that's right, pulse. A bracelet has already been invented to measure your unique pulse that only you can wear and no one else, to identify you.

certian military documents speak of this bracelet however military personel are reporting an almost invisible chip attached to said document when they recieve it.
