Hi there this isnt a deep topic yet at the same time it could be .
I am wondering how we all as individuals praise our LORD JESUS when not at church worship and praise .
this came as a thought while i was laying in my backyard with a small bonfire and just staring at the stars .
I just started to thank JESUS for the parting clouds that gave me a clearer view of the stars , and from there the gentle craclking of the wood on the fire . Then i found i was just laying there totally immersed in the wonders that GOD has made around me yet at the same time enjoying the quiet of the fire .

like i said its not a deep theological topic but i feel its as important our personal worship of JESUS

Hey Squidge!

I live on a farm in England and I often walk up the top of this massive hill at the end of our land and climb to the top of this massive oak tree where I have a perch from which I can see for miles and miles and miles in all directions. I do up there to see the dawn rise in the morning or the sun set at night or to watch the stars or when there is a MASSIVE thunderstorm. It's so windy and powerful and always so awe-inspiring! Sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I shout out in prayer, sometimes I whisper in praise, sometimes I just listen! It's so beautiful!

I also do a lot of sailing and I get myself hoisted to the top of the mast whilst we are sailing along and it's just me and the elements and it's so so humbling and yet encouraging that the God who made all this has mde me and offered me relationship with him... Although when it's rough it gets tiring very past (maybe a bit like my prayer life )

However most of the time I sit on my bed and sing to God with my guitar. I love having my heart broken by him and he always speak to me through music...

Other mundane task like washing up can be turned into worship very easily. Just think of the dirty dishes as you and got is polishing us up and scrubbing all the dirt off to prepare us for his table...!

Im studying maths at uni and i find (annoyingly) VERY hard to worship God in that... but im trying lol!

I like to praise Our Lord when I am walking my dog.
I live in a small village surrounded by fields and when I walk the dog he runs of through the fields and for a while I am alone breathing in the fresh air, looking at the amazing view of the country and the sun shines through the clouds and I speak aloud and thank the Lord for all that he has given me.

A couple of weeks ago I was walking the dog and was asking for forgiveness and when I had finished I looked into the distance and saw a flutter of snow coming towards me, you could see it coming just like when you see the rain clouds in the distance and I knew this was the Lord speaking back to me.

May the Lord be with you all always

Awesome WithUsAlways!

Isaiah 1:18

"Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;"

I love walking.

Time with God alone is ALWAYS very powerful. I sometimes struggle in really big church meetings. I know that coming together corporately as a body in Christ is powerful but I love time with God just me and him...

Me too. I love my Dog. I worship my God

I like to praise Our Lord when I am walking my dog.

Me too. I take my dog, Teddybear to our local park in the morning and evening when there are not too many people around.
I begin by reciting the Lords Prayer, and meditate on each sentence. So I do this slowly. Meanwhile, Teddybear is sniffing the air. (I think he's worshipping God too)
Then we walk to a small lake named by us 'ducks 'n swans' because there are a lot of Ducks and Swans there. I praise God for the beauty of the land and the animals in it.
The Swallows and Swifts like to show off their aerobatic skills, while I'm looking toward heaven.
This is very often a spiritual time for me. Not just a walk in the park.

God has truly blessed you. The words you wrote show your love of Jesus Christ and they leapt off the page.

I suspect that we can be more sincere with our praise of The Lord when we are out in the open, so to speak.
