LOL... I have been a Christian for about a year. I joined this sight because I love the internet and find it difficult to speak about Christ with others in most general chatrooms. I enjoy meeting and talking to people. Most of all I am in dire need of learning more about the bible. We don't have Sunday School for adults at the church I attend so I don't get a chance to read and discuss. What I have found so far is very promising. I do have one question... is it just me or is it the closer I try to get to God the more the devil attacks?

Welcome to TJ. It is a pleasure meeting you. As to your question - no it is not just you. Satan does his best to discourage, distract and even try to destroy our relationship with the Lord. But praise God, Satan's best does not even touch what the Lord has done for us. God has a hope, a plan and a purpose for each one of us and nothing - and I repeat nothing - can separate us from His love for us. I really appreciate the warm welcome. Yes, I watched Little House on the Prairie. My husband and I drove truck and that was my CB handle. It fits perfectly since I'm only 5' even.

I'll have to put up a sticky note about the saturday meeting. I should be back in time but might be a bit tired. We are cleaning up the fellowship hall this saturday. I will do my best to at least come in and say hello. I will definitely be looking forward to meeting some new women friends here... yee haaa!
