Iam an artist

This question has always been in my mind for long now and I believe your opinion will be of much help to me.
Iam a singer and most of my tracks are about love & peace.What I mean is love and peace with our fellow neighbours as well as love of those who needs our help.

There are so many wars in my continent and so many holes that needs to be filled which I feel people needs to know and understand how important love is in our daily lives.

However the greatest opinions that I need from you is that I have always told myself that I will never do my shows alongside fellow artists who sing songs that have nothing to do with changing the lives of others as well as in those places associated with alcohol.But somehow I feel that those people that I will be avoiding are the ones who need to be told and hear about this most.They need to know how important love is.

Praise God for the gift he has given you.
There are a few questions you must ask,

Would this cause me to compromise ?
Is this really in God's will ?
Would this affect my image when I'm witnessing to others ?
What sets my music apart from others who sing about love and peace ?
Would I be willing to share my belief without the fear of rejection ?

Most importantly, is asking God to lead you. It's great to see your desire in wanting to bring light into dark places. The love of God is needed in the hearts of people everywhere. Not everyone is open to sermons, but music reaches everyone, so let God be the central of your songs of Love and Peace.

I would keep you in prayer, may God bless you with the heart of worship.

The theme of your music is excellent, but as you may know, love and peace can be used in a less than loving fashion and sometimes causes some people to go in the wrong direction. Not having heard your music, I can't make any judgement in that regards. I also am a composer, but I use the term loosely, because I have never published anything. But, my songs are definitely targeted toward the secular world, because I agree that they definitely have the need. I guess that it is simply up to you to decide if your music will accomplish it purpose or not, but I hope that it contains at least something about the source of love and peace...God.

If your songs are truely of God, they will lead others to Him. Try thinking of the sheep these kind sing to, can you get to them? They'll usually mingle between secular and religious gatherings, then your music will hopefully spread, like leaven of heaven. Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

Music

I think sometimes music can be about a personal experience and still help people, just because they went through the same thing and now they feel like they are not alone in this experience. So non religious music can be of great value as well.

If your music can let them know that they are NEVER alone because they have god on their side, then you should try to get through to them.
It's easy to get the message through to people who already believe in the message, it is truly the work of god getting those who don't to start believing, and enriching their lives.
