I just turned 80, and in doing so, I realize more than ever how important my salvation is. It's extremely important to me to get and stay as close to the Lord as possible. I am wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Our children and most of our grandchildren are believers. We are so blessed! I want to fill my mind with things of Him. I believe we are truly in the last days.

I'm new, too, and I was going to introduce myself, but I saw you had just posted and I wanted to read your post before I made my own. I'm 57 years old, and you are 80. There's a generation between us, but both of us, I would guess, can say the same thing: If we had been shown the state of the world today when we were children, it would have confirmed everything we were being taught about the end times. Think of a world where abortion is a right people fight for, where the most grotesque pornography is at the fingertips of every human being who wants to view it, where the debt of the United States in unfathomable, and we can't raise interest rates a point without collapsing under our own economic weight, where every institution we trusted in is collapsing, and the Christian Church has almost no meaning in anyone's life anymore, where they would conduct gain of function research on viruses that never affected mankind before and then released them onto the world to begin its inevitable decline.

Imagine if we had seen all that when we were children?
