I am sorry if this is the wrong place to put it.:embarasse

It started nearly a year ago. I had to give up church as I was very ill with epilespy. (I also have depression). I wasn't on medication and so I was very ill. I hardly ever read the Bible anymore even though I love that book. I am just a confused girl.

I have done so many things wrong that I don't see anyone forgiving me. I am just plain evil. I blastheme but I can't stop. All the wrong things (sinning) just seems to tempting. I am confused and I don't know what to believe in anymore.

For example some people tell me that there's going to be some kind of rapture and others do not believe it. I just wish I knew the truth.

Then again I always wonder why I want to know. I just know I am going to Hell anyway. I do too many things wrong. I just can't help it. It seems too tempting. I am weak willed and I admit it. I am always sad and all I seem to do is suffer. What's more I always get doubt in my head too.

Do you think I am wrong to feel like this?

I felt so guilty once I had a whole list of all the things I have done wrong. The remarkable thing was that it made me feel better. Weird as you would of thought it would make me worse.

Anyway can I be saved or have I just been too bad.

Thanks

It's never too late to turn to Jesus.... until your last breath, anyway. We are destined to die once, and after that, to face judgment.
You have not been too bad. Jesus' blood can cover anyone's sins... including serial killers, rapists, liars, thiefs, you name it. I myself wondered at one time if I had been too bad. I have found that I have not been too bad. Even if the world doesn't forgive you, you can have the assurance that God will if you confess your sins to Jesus and ask Him into your heart.
I even tried to 'fix' my life before I turned to Christ. I thought, if I could just fix this problem, then I could come to Christ. It doesn't work that way. Just turn your life over to Him, troubles, problems, habits and all... He accepts you just how you are. After that, He will help you to make the changes you need, you will never be alone again.
It sounds like you have a lot of things in your life that you aren't happy about- cursing, temptations, sins, maybe more. God is a big God. He can handle it.
The great thing about God is that He teaches us with love. We know that He wants us to grow in Christ, and because we desire to please Him, we want to grow in Christ. And we are made new. I am not the same person I used to be. I am not perfect, but what a difference! The same can be said for you--- start today. Confess the things you have done wrong, the things you know are not pleasing to God. Tell Him that you don't want to do them anymore. Tell Him you need Jesus in your heart, and you want to follow Him for the rest of your life.
And then get ready for the ride of your life!!!
Find a solid, bible-believing church. If they have a biblical counselor on staff, maybe make an appointment so that you can get direction, a place to start making changes.
God is ready... are you?

Dear Della,

No-one is too bad to be saved. The Lord Jesus died on the cross to save you...no matter what you have done. The precious blood of the Lord Jesus cleanses from all sins.

Seek Him in prayer, He is ready to accept you right now. He will give you real and lasting peace from all your turmoil.

For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)

The blood of Jesus Christ ...cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7)

I am praying for you Della, praying that you find Jesus..He is the answer to all your needs.

It's never to late to meet Jesus, just call upon the name of the Lord be honest about your feelings.
Try to find a church so you can have fellowship and bible study.
Give your entire life over to him, everything.

We're here to pray for you.

"For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, indeed it cannot; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh, you are in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Any one who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him." (Romans 8:5-9 RSV)

Sister Della,

I see that you feel guilty, concerned and worried. Believe it or not, in a way these things you feel are a gift from GOD. It a warning from the Holy Spirit to let you know something is wrong and must be fixed. GOD is not waiting on you to be sinless. However, understand what Jesus did on the Cross is for you. No ifs ands or buts. Its the plain simple truth. He loves you, He paid the price for you for all your sins.

The link rizen gave you is great.

Anyway can I be saved or have I just been too bad.

Della: I have a couple of thoughts to share wih you. First, regarding church attendance, there are many churches that videotape their services and post them on their websites. So, if you have sound on your computer, you can "go to church" right in your own home. Google "Christian Churches" and you'll get a bunch of links.

Secondly , regarding the emotional issues you report, the apostle Paul went through the same stuff. I strongly recommend that you study Romans 7:21 - 8:2. Don't be in a hurry to read it. Take your time, meditate on it verse by verse and, if you run across something you don't understand, pray about it; ask God to reveal the answer to you.

Thirdly, I don't know how long its been since you started trying to follow Jesus, but, I strongly advise you to not compare your growth as a Christian to other people's seeming growth. What they appear to be isn't always what they are. Also, don't get wrapped up in things like the rapture. Things like that are important to a degree, but right now they are distractions that you don't need to be involved with.

Finally, I would personally recommend that, after you've studied the verses from Romans, study the Gospel of John for a week or two. I recommend John because of its emphasis on Jesus' teachings as opposed to His works. Visualize Jesus speaking to you personally in His teaching.

Yes, you can be saved. No, you've not been too bad.

Feel free to p.m. me if I can help you.

Hi Della,

can I say....
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7

I see that you are seeking and let me tell you that therefore you will find all you are looking for, and in Jesus Christ, much, much more.

Della, you ask.... Anyway can I be saved or have I just been too bad. Do you want to be saved is my question to you? Because, if you do, then the answer is YES. Have you been too bad ? ... the answer to that is NO.

You are a very special person and it is because the Lord Jesus loves you so much that He offers you forgiveness for all sin in your life... and He has already paid in full for you... and me... for all of us. Now this may seem huge... it may seem too hard to comprehend... and yet it is this simple truth about His love for you that will set you free... not just today, and tomorrow, but for all eternity, from the power of sin and death.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Yes, we have all fallen short of God's glory.... yes, we have all sinned... and yes, the wages of sin is death.... but thanks be to God who has in His love, given all who believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, eternal life and as the Scripture says... victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Corinthians 15:55-57

Della, there is nothing too hard for Jesus... and it is good that you can confess your wrong.... and as you repent of doing wrong, believe in the mercy and grace, the love and forgiveness of God in Christ Jesus the Lord... and as you believe, confess Him, Jesus Christ as your Lord... yes, He is your Lord if you will believe in Him... and as you confess Him, He will lift you up from your present darkness and give you of His life which is eternal and one of complete joy... salvation... which is what you seek.

Bless you Della, in Jesus name.

Will be praying for you Della, faith is important here if you you think your losing it. Jesus said we must overcome this world, and that is done by faith. Don't strive with sin, bring it to God in repentance and he will forgive you. Not only will he forgive it, he will wash your mind soul and spirit from it. In faith, this is how this works. Will we have doubt? you bet we will at times, tribulation as well, and maybe even persecution. No one said that the road to eternal life was easy, do you want eternal life?

I do, but it comes with a price, and that price is already paid in Christ with faith in Christ. When you finally completely make up your mind to love God and keep his commands, and they are not hard commands. God will honor your faith, faith without works is dead. But we are not saved by our works but by grace, least any man should boast. We should talk to God as we talk to anyone else, with faith that he is right there with us. God is not far from any of us, and prayer leads us to a fellowship with God that is needed, and a blessing. Our father of faith Abraham, was a friend of God. So be a friend of God and he will be a friend to you.

Read psalms 107 to see Gods mercy, and take it to heart

God bless

Thank you

I want to thank you for everything. I will have to start reading the Bible and yes I do want to be saved more then anything. I will read all the things you have sent me. Thanks again.

Della: When we come to Christ, He accepts us as we are, but He doesn't leave us that way. Things have to change. In my case, a couple of habits had to stop. I couldn't have Jesus and alcohol, I couldnt have Jesus and R-rated movies. In Matthew 6, Jesus said, "No man can serve two masters. Either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and love the other." (Mt 6:24).

When you go to a doctor to be treated for an illness and he correctly diagnoses the illness, you don't tell him that certain things that contribute to the spread of that illness are off limits. You allow him to do whatever is necessary to cure the illness. That's the attitude we need to have regarding the Lord's work in our lives.

We are all born with a spiritual illness called "sin". It invades every part of our lives, growing and festering, and if we are not 100% committed to letting Doctor Jesus do what is needed to heal us, we'll die in our sin.

Change is painful, but the pain is temoporary. And if you allow Jesus to fill your life with Himself, in time you will come to experience real self respect and joy for probably the first time in your life.

I am glad that you made the list of all the wrong you did. But You know what turn to Jesus Christ because reardless what you have written on the paper He already paid the price for all the wrongs you will ever do. God is able and it is you He seeks that lost one. Regardless where you are in life once you have breath Praise the Lord. Seek for Him and you shall find Him and once you keep your mind on Him you will be in perfect peace.

Don;t you ever believe that you are so bad that God can't use you the Devil is surely a liar and since you have a heart the seeks Him He will show Himself for you. If you need someone to talk to am there for you. You are bless and highly favor it is not what we see but what God sees. Sometimes I wonder how he can take my sins and make it white as snow cause He throws it in the seas of forgetfulness. Read the word, pray and meditate on His love and Goodness and Kindness.

Be Bless in the Lord

Dear Della

You say that you want to be saved more than anything

He will save you right now. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

Just open your heart to Him. He paid the price for all that sin that is weighing you down.

He invites you to bring your burden to Him, to ask for forgiveness, and to allow Him to come into your heart and life.

I assure you of this Della because I am a sinner saved by Grace. Now I'm a child of the King made spotless by His precious blood.

I'm praying for you Della

Julia
