I am tagging a few members at the end of the post who seem to be going through a difficult time lately....

May I introduce myself:

My name is Julia (or Fragrant Grace as you know me here)
I am not very good at cooking
My hearing isn't too good
I am not a physical beauty
I am really useless at hand eye coordination sports
Sometimes I get grumpy and miserable because I am not satisfied with what I have
I get snappy at my husband and children and need more patience

The list could go on and on

But it doesn't have to be that way....

Let's look instead at what I am in Christ

A precious child of the King
I am loved just the way I am
I am Redeemed
I am Justified
I am Sanctified

I have a heart washed by the blood of the Lamb

I have a home in heaven

I have eternal security no matter what this world throws at me,

Hallelujah, Praise the Lord
I am Julia and I belong to Jesus
That is enough

Dear brothers and sisters, when you are struggling and in difficulties, despairing of life and cast down

Look at what you are in Christ
What He has done for you
What you have in store for you after this dreary life

Lift up your hearts and sing His praises
The joy of the Lord is your strength

Count your blessings
Make His praise glorious

All earths trials become dim and distant when we focus on Jesus.

God hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
Hebrews 13:5

Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you
1 Peter 5:7

I will trust and not be afraid
Isaiah 12:2

My times are in Thy hand
Psalm 31:15

We All got us short comings! and we all have something speacial too share with others !
But in our Spirit ? We are God Holy Children , The apples of His eye! no matter how many flaws we have in this weak fesh ! Thank You LORD JESUS !
He Declared Us More than Conquerors and Overcomers at the Monment we accepted HIm as LORD and Master and His gospel as truth !
He willing to help us in the flesh with anything we see as a problem ! Nothing we cannot overcome! We just ask and mean it and accept it By Faith . No matter what we see with our eyes!

Worries Frets and Cares

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength
Isaiah 26:3-4

Satan must be filled with glee when worries, cares and frets rule our days
Worry hinders spiritual progress, creates irritability and destroys our peace

At the first moment a worry creeps in and begins to eat us up
Commit that worry to the Lord and leave it with Him......believing that wonderful scripture that says:
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee
Its in His word so it's true and it will never fail.

My youngest daughter aged only 1 has a heart condition, she has to see another specialist this week.
Worry tries to creep in with 'what if's and what will the results be'
But the Lord, praise His name is bigger than that worry.....and in Him there is perfect and unfailing peace

Hallelujah we can all say with confidence
I am not a worrier.....I am a child of the King
I have His peace
It is perfect

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid
John 14:27


And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

I (in my own strength) am definitely not very patient when I am tired.
My darling one year old daughter, still breastfeeding, is so demanding through the night
Sometimes I feel I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open through the day!!!
And to my shame I get snappy and irritable.

But the Lord in His amazing goodness never fails us if we look to the amazing promises in His infallible word.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.
Isaiah 26:3

Just turning away from self and keeping focused on Jesus brings a true deep peace that sweeps away all irritability and unease
Turning to prayer for others rather than moaning about minor self trials.....O what a blessing!

Blessèd hour of prayer, blessèd hour of prayer,
What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there*

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength.....
...But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the Peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

i find myself sometimes to murmer and complain a bit and get a bit impatient, then i remind myself that in actuality really i am so Blessed of The LORD and thanks to Him may live in a (Western) country without any real persecution against Christians and even though some things in my personal life may (seem to the eye) seem to go wrong, and at times to the sight there seems to be no help for me i let my soul remind myself that God is Faithful and we walk by faith and not by sight and also that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are being persecuted all over the world even unto death and are tortured for The Name of The Lord Jesus Christ, their situation is far more difficult and here am i sitting safe in all comfort at home.

Philippians 4:

Blessings and strength to you sister ..mother hood is not for whimps ,when I almost lost my son at birth and my wife also .i saw the determination and hope of life in my wife's pain . That's why God called woman Eve .it means giver of life or life bearer You are blessed to be of such an equipping .i encourage you to hang in their and look to the hope of what all you're pain and travail will produce ...Christ will give the rest needed if we put on blinders and look ahead .....may this find you in due season sister ....Rev
