John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness
but shall have the light of life.
Matt 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
The singular most important study that one can undertake is the study of Jesus. This singular vision will bring His light to your spirit.
Jesus told us to look elsewhere other than what He said for the witness of Himself when He said the following:
John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
John 5:32 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness that He witnesseth of Me is true.
I am not posting this as a debate issue. It is intended as a personal quest for anyone that would have their whole body full of the light of life.
A study of Jesus' life is the thing that will bring light to you. Study His conception, His early childhood, and anything the Bible has
to say about Him, other than what He may have seemed to witness of Himself, for He did say that IF He witnessed of Himself His witness would
not be true. Study His life as a singular purpose in your life to be filled with the light of life.
And for the context people, "but if thine eye be evil thy whole body shall be full of darkness". It is because they are not looking at Jesus,
they are looking at everything but, serving sin and the pleasures of the world.
"But if the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness" how much of a hold on you does the world have? What does Satan
have in you that prevents you from being SINGLE visioned?
