I have not listened to your YouTube clip beyond the first few minutes, I'm sorry, because I have seen similar news on television here in the UK, about the changes taking place within retail. There are big changes ahead for us all, globally, and we need to be aware of them, but not to fear, just to be prepared, and to consider our lifestyle choices in the light of what is happening. There are many reasons for these changes taking place, but most of them are beyond our power to influence.

You see when I was kid, on Saturday mornings, you did not have to wake a kid up in the Morning, and fix him or her breakfast. just make sure you have some "Fruit Loops" and some Milk in the Refrigerator.
