Well, I hope is not bad for a Christian boy to do what a women for waxing or anything like that but it just that I hate shaving and every time I shave it, it would only last one day and I would hear people say that I need to shave and I would say I just shave yesterday or 2 days ago!!! I do get bumps after I finish shaving and it dose break out and turn red on the next day and when I touches my face it would kind a feel over whelm because its like kind of feel like taking a sand paper when rubbing around your faces and it also feels like its warm like my faces is kind of feel like a little hot feeling but I don’t know how to explain it but I hope yall know what I mean I HOPE and I would feel like waxing my faces for once of my life I can’t take it no more and I do have sensitive skin and I need help from someone .

I just don’t know because I don’t know if I should wax my faces because I don’t like looking hairy like that because I just need to tell it to stop but then again its worries me that If I was it would be a night mare of my life if anything happen to my facial skin I would say please lord help me from this night mare on my FACES!

Hi Brother are you having a wet shave? Are you using an electric shaver?

A wet shave can give a rash and blotches.......a "barbers rash". But an electric shaver should be ok.

If you are having a wet shave, a new blade could cause problems, and affect your face. But should be better as you use the razor more. Don't press on too hard against your face.

Keep shaving brother. The ladies love a smooth face. (I remember)HaHaHa

Hey brother Stylez4Christ, I've shaved for aout 4 years, but have really shaved for the past 2 years. I would say you should invest in a good shaver, do some work for someone, save the money and buy yourself an electric shaver.

The Philips Philishave range is the best out there, but I currently own a Braun shaver, these are electric or battery operated shavers. Like brother Stephen said, it could be the wet shave, the blades or just your skin.

Google for electric shaver and see what comes up ;)

God bless
Much love

Yes, but its not going to be shave all away I could touches my faces and it will not feel like its smooth it will kind a feel like sand paper and I've shave for 5 years and I hate my break out acne faces I know some said I looked ugly today but it did not really make it bather me but still it effected me in away that it dose when I think on my skin on my faces and I've deal with this stuff for the past 5 to 7 years and nothing has not changes that much and I miss my baby skin and plus I try to wash my face but its not working to well and it sometimes \make the skin dry and make the skin a little wired looking and I don’t have no choices to do anything but ask to doctor for something and wash my faces and it does not work at all and makes the skin look a lil worser

Brother, it's part of growing up, there's nothing you can do about it. You'll be surprised at how close an electrical shaver shaves. They are modern marvels.

If you continue to have this reaction, buy this shaver: A Gillette Mach3 turbo or Gillette Mach 3 with battery operation. It's a normal wet shaver with 3 blades and the blades cost a pretty penny, but they will last you at least 6 months to a year.

The other thing is to get Gillette Sensitive Skin shaving gel, or shaving foam. This will also last you a long while and is quite cheap.

Never shave with a blunt blade, if the blade starts to pull your skin or feel likes it hurts, change it and use another one.

Fill your basin with luke warm to hot water, wash the shaver in the water by making sure all hairs are off, whilst you shave. As you are shaving, rinse it off, shave, rinse it off, shave.

Make sure to always shave before you shower or take a bath, as the skin becomes swollen after a shower or bath, you need tight "normal" skin when you shave, the hot water for the shaver also makes for a closer shave, I have found that.

I will pray for you dear brother, don't lose faith, even Jesus had to shave.

God bless
Much love

Oh ok... Well I like the wet one maybe I will buy electrical shaver to see if it really work..

Well the hold acne case. :embarasse What if I drink more water would clean out the ugly pimbull???

I can only recommend you see a dermatologist and explain your matters to him or her. They will give you the best advice on what to do. Of course, you can pray that GOD shows you the right doctor to assist you.

I'm not a health professional brother ;) I'm just giving advice that worked for me. I'm not sure about drinking water, I don't drink that much water and my skin is clear.

I think every individual on earth is just that, an individual, we are all different.

Like Chad said, a dermatologist could be the answer, do what you feel is the correct thing to do.

I think a dermatologist could help you, Stylez.

Since I'm a female, I just have to deal with shaving legs, etc. But....I had an acne problem for years, from about age 14 to age 26. It was very, very bad and if I'd been a boy, there would be no way I could have ever shaved without reopening all the mess that was there. I sympathize with you on your breaking out, and I understand how hard that would make it to shave.

Please see a dermatologist, they have many modern helps these days. See if your health insurance would cover several visits. I think you will like the results.

God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. You are a special person. God cares about every detail of your life, even shaving.

Love,
Jan (Dreamer)

RAZOR BURNS:

Causes for Razor Burns

Applying too much pressure while shaving can cause a razor burn owing to friction.

Insufficient skin lubrication is another cause.

Shaving in the direction opposite to hair growth is also a common cause for razor burns.

Excessive use of after-shaves and colognes can compound the problem of razor burns by causing dryness.

Remedies for Razor Burns

The best way to deal with razor burns is to stop shaving. Give your skin some rest and simply let your hair grow back for a while.

Use a soothing after-shave balm if you are already suffering from razor burns.

Applying apple cider vinegar is thought to be a good solution to razor burns.

Dissolve two uncoated aspirins in a teaspoon of warm water and mix into a paste. Apply this paste on the affected area. Wash it after sometime with lukewarm water. This will take care of the burning sensation.

An effective razor burn mask can be made by mashing a couple of strawberries with a 1 spoon of sour cream.
Apply this mixture after shaving and leave it for 10 minutes. Do this twice a week for fresh, razor burn free skin.

Witch hazel, mild salicylic acid solutions and Aloe Vera gel are known to provide relief for razor burns.
Diet for Razor Burns

Although there are no specifications regarding diets to be followed for razor burns, consuming foods rich in Vitamin C should help in restoring the skin quickly.

Suggestions for Razor Burns

Use warm water to soften your skin and hair prior to shaving, alternatively shave right after a shower.

Be sure to apply shaving cream, foam or soap in the opposite direction of hair growth, taking care to moisturize your skin as well as hair thoroughly.

Start by shaving the easier areas first like the jaw line, cheeks and neck.

Shave in the direction of the hair growth (usually downward)

Do not stretch your skin taut while shaving.

Rinse your razor thoroughly after every use and replace blades every week or more often if needed.

Electric razors that work gently on your skin prevent razor burns.

Use shave oil. Applying pre-shave oil as a first layer, prior to shaving creams and gels helps soften the beard and improve the shave quality.
