Hi everyone,
At my job there is a girl who says she is a christian, her friend hangs out there and helps her as well. They are both hispanic and the customers at my job are mainly hispanic as well. I am not. I find that when I say Hi to them (my co-worker & her friend) or when they ask me a question and I answer them, they immediatly say something jokingly in Spanish (which I dont understand) and laugh, every single time when I finish saying something and always with another customer that understands the language who is laughing too. I ask them what is funny that they are laughing and I get a "oh nothing nothing" response from both of them, I feel it is about me that they are making fun of me which makes me sad & hurt. More sad & hurt because it is coming from another "Christian". What would God want me to do? Ignore it? Because I already confronted them and they refuse to let tell me anything and it still goes on.

Start praying for God's blessings upon their lives. Satan may be using them (and he does work through Christians, too) to bring you down, but by prayer, you can take that evil and turn it into something good. And praying for them just might make the devil think otherwise about using them. Heap coals of fire upon their heads. When you see them, all you have to say is a simple but friendly hello.

When I moved into my apartment, the woman beside me would say things about me, talk bad about me, gossip about me, spread rumors. She didn't even know who I was, never mind knowing my name. I started praying that the Lord would bless her. Fill her with joy, meet her needs; put a smile on her face. That she would go through her day with a spring in her step. It took a few months, but she started saying hello to me. Then she would tell me what a cute dog I have. Now, we stand outside on our balconies and have lovely conversations. Every time she sees me now, she gives me a cheery hello and asks how I am doing. God can melt even the coldest of hearts. Leave these girls in His hands, and let His Holy Spirit deal with them.

hmmm.. that's great beloved. Proverbs says "He who win souls is wise? (Proverbs 11:30) :shade:

And amen. I agree here a lot. If we can't win people in the physical realm, we can touch them in the spiritual realm through prayer.

Praying for you Donna that the Lord may give you wisdom how to deal with these people for better friends...

Thanks for sharing with us...

God bless you...

1Pe 2:12 having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
