Hi everyone,
Last night I was feeling down and out. Still felt unsaved. I started kinda speaking to myself in my mind. I said to myself, I wish I was never born. And then I said, better yet, if it hurts this bad, I just as soon go on now. Just when I said that, I felt like I didn't doubt anymore. Then tonight, as I was in bed I started praying, but I really didn't know what I should pray about. Then Scripture started coming in my head. I really can't remember which ones now. Then I thought, I don't wanna condemn myself any worse, then Romans 8:1 came to my mind. What could this mean? Please tell me if you can...I am so full of joy that I don't know what to do... Thank You Jesus! I had to get back up and come and type this..This is so exciting!

How wonderful to have that experience with our Lord Jesus Christ. It reminded me of the verse in 1 Corininthians 10 "God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." Our salvation is not dependent on how we feel but God's Son and His work on the cross. We may have doubts but as long as we turn to God, and that is what you did and it is the way of escape, your joy will continue in Him. God bless you and have a blessed Christmas. Your story gave me joy and encourged my heart for Christ.

He has been there all along and with a simple utterance He can change any situation. Not only have you been set free from oppression but when you find yourself being tried you will remember His faithfulness and your faith will grow in leaps and bounds.
I am really blessed for you. Remember that which the enemy means for harm can only produce a blessing when we trust God.

What does it Mean

It`s beautiful.

The old song say`s

He touched me, oh He touched me
and oh the joy that touched my soul
something happened and now I know
He touched me and made me whole.

Amen

Troy

Sorry to hear that.

I sincerely hope that whatever was on your mind, making you feel so down, has been resolved.

You are forgiven!

1Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,a 2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature,b God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering.c And so he condemned sin in sinful man,

This is a very powerful verse and one of the most important in all the Bible. It is the end product of God's Grace:
If you are"Born Again", having Jesus Christ living in you (simply by inviting Him in) ( you have done something smilar to what it says to do in Romans 10:8-13)then you are saved. God therefore does not look at your sin anymore, calling you blamless (go to your concordance and look up blameless) and there is no more condemnation (judgement) for you being imperfect and sinful.

At this very present, with Christ living in you, and when God looks at you, he does not see your sin but the perfect life of Jesus Christ and He calls you blamless.
When you die your physical mortal death, and you go before God in heaven, God does not look at your righteousness (because you have none), instead He sees Jesus Christ's righteousness in you and He will say to you" Well done good and faithful servant" and glorify you on the spot!
