So I have been thinking a bit lately about why I stumbled on this site. I have only been using the site a few days, but it is clear God has his hand in things going on here.
I think that we could really do something great... I don’t know exactly what yet, but I think we should do something like a Day of Internet evangelism! Or a week or weekend or something. Or we could have a set day every month or... I don’t know, something!
What it would involve is all the members here at talk Jesus getting on non-Christian chats and forums in our free time and just dropping the gospel on them. We could record some things that happen on another thread.
It is not up to us to save anyone, that is Gods part of the deal. It is up to us to be telling EVERYONE who Christ is, and what better way then the Internet!
I think this could be very effective. Like Paul when he went to Athens. He just dropped the gospel on everyone there, and some just picked up and followed. Those who God has chosen from eternity past can be grabbed. They just need to hear it.
Anyway I am not very good at details, so I wanted to just get a post started so we could start mulling over the idea. Please pray before you post so that we may be directed in the most effective way!
