I have been blessed through talk Jesus

God's direction and hand on my life has been awesome but the thing is you don't always see it at the time.

I have been brought up in a Christian family and been loved but never really knew God's love as a child for myself even though I knew my parents cared for me. My teens were very unhappy and I got a lot of rejection from people until I made a decision for God in 1989.

My walk with God started in an awesome way and got a bit cold until I was only going spasmodically to church. Someone in a secular site gave me the link to another Christian chatroom and I was struck but the love of the people there and that it was different from the other chatrooms I had been to.

One of the people told me about TalkJesus and thought I'd give it a try so I came and knew a few people from the other site that I went to and also met new friends quickly.

I remember one Sunday I got up early and we all had a prayertime in the chatroom and God's Spirit came in an awesome way and people were finding their needs met by the Holy Spirit and it was awesome. One thing about this site is that if you have a need there are people that will pray for you and God will meet that need.

A lot has happened since then and I won't bore you with the details but the amazing thing is that the site never fails to bless me and the new look is groovy and I like playing songs in the chatroom....Sometimes I just go into the chatroom on my own and listen to songs as they bless me.

We are all family and yes sometimes that family can fall out and argue but the bottom line is we are one in the love of Jesus because we talk Jesus.

well...here are more details... i met someone romantically in TJ but it unfortunately it hasnt worked out. In fairness to the person I dont want to give details as it serves no purpose.
Also, I have met loads of friends in there whereas before I found it difficult to meet new folks in real life I suddenly enjoyed a feeling of being loved and popular.
In addition to that yes there are always folks that you disagree with as you get in any site and misunderstandings have occurred on my side as well as others but the good thing is that God has shown my errors and lack of forgiveness .
I the summer a friend emailed me part of a book titled truth vs deception and it made me see how i was deceiving myself and I had to be honest to God and then a 2nd part of the book called bitterness vs freedom. I felt had just been hurt by people in a Christian chatroom (not this one) and this article made me examine those who hurt me and those I had hurt and my fears and as a result left them all at the cross. When I did I saw a distorted fairground mirror in a vision which smashed when I prayed about it. It represented my self image which distorted myself and since then I can love myself and others better. The Sunday after that I went to church and saw my old self float away on the cross and a beautiful butterfly burst from within...how awesome.

OK so I went slightly off the point but since then God has changed my focus and since then i came back here and sensed again my love for this place.
