I just had my wisdom tooth pulled today! :(

I just had my wisdom tooth pulled today & boy does that hurt!
I am 44, and my wisdom tooth root was set into bone erea of my jaw. They had to pry & tug into my tooth just to get it out. They try to tell me that I will feel some pressure & that is all. Well I felt pressure & pain! But they manage to get my tooth out. They said it was a tough tooth to pull because it was indented into my jaw bone. They did give a lot of novacane to ease the pain - but I don't think there is enough novacane out there to ease the pain they put me through! ( figure of speech) They also gave me some antibiotics & pain-reliever pills for the agony I am now in. But the pain pills only work for just a liittle while.

I got 3 pulled and I'm only 26

It definitely wasn't a "sweet tooth" feeling thats for sure lol.

The strange part is the empty / missing tooth feeling afterwards. Took a week or so to adjust.

mg: Wow! 3! I just bet, you're glad that's over with! Yikes! I still have 3 to go! When I was in my young 20's I was told to have them out then, in fact, he insisted! Unfortunately, for me, back then was way to expensive, so I had to wait. I think maybe, that's why the root of my wisdom tooth was indented into my jaw bone. They say the younger you are when you have them taken out, the less pain there is. I think it's because the root isn't as big then.
