I just want Christ!

I yearn to be close to Jesus just as His disciples were. My mind is a mess.
I hate what I'm going through right now!

Acts 5:32 says that God gives the Holy Ghost to those that obey Him.
I now realize why I haven't had the fruits of His Spirit. I was not in obedience.
But God has helped me wake up out of my disobedience (fornication).

I have stopped fornicating. Does this mean I have repented of fornication?
I got serious in wanting Christ so I seriously decided to stop.

John 6:37 says that Jesus will in no wise cast out those who come to Him.

I want to come to Christ Jesus but (there's that word) I'm worried about my many sins
I've committed against Him, including blasphemy of Holy Spirit
(tormenting thoughts in my mind) and Hebrews chapter 10? (willfull sinning).
I know full well in my heart and mind that Christ is Holy.
This is extremely tormenting. I've asked God to tell me whether or
not I've committed blasphemy.Been struggling with this for years.
I told myself if God were to tell me I haven't I would be the most JOYOUS child of God on earth.

John 6:44 starts off by saying that no man can come to Jesus except the Father which sent Jesus draw him

I hear all this,"The fact that you want and desire Christ is the evidence that His Spirit is drawing you."

I thirst for Jesus! (John 7:37)
my soul is in desperate need of a Saviour.
I really want Him, I've been crying almost everyday to have Him.

John 15:10- Could an unforgiveable still keep his commandments?

I'm so afraid! I don't know if God took His Spirit away from me!
Day in and day out I am in torment with my mind!
I keep having blasphemous thoughts that are raging through my head.
Like OCD, I repeat things to make it right.
But one day I had said something wrong.
In my soul these things are NOT TRUE! God believe me please!

I'm not right inside. For a very long time I've had not peace which surpasses understanding.
Going through constant worry of whether or not I'm saved
or can be...that I done away with my salvation.

I have so many doubts. I know that Jesus can forgive me.
I'm having hard time believing it for me
but deep down I know He is MIGHTY to save.
I told Him, "I believe, help my unbelief!" I'm double minded!

There is no other! I can't run to anyone else. Just like Simon Peter said in John 6:68!

If only God could tell me personally, "Yes, Amber, I can forgive you.
You haven't reached the point of no return."

1 John 3:18 says there is no fear in love:
but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.
he that feareth is not made perfect in love.

*cries out*
I'm not made perfect in love. I want to be.

I want 1 John 5:13 to be a REALITY for my life.

Dear lady Amby.......Welcome.

I want you to tell you that Jesus loves you...No Matter What. Salvation is secured on the cross by HIS Merit. You have nothing at all to fear.

Simply trust in Jesus...that is all it takes. All the stuff you mention... holding you back from being accepted in His presence, love and care......
is a lie.

Calvary covers it all, Your past with its sin and shame, Your guilt and despair, Jesus took on Him there.......And Calvery covers it all.

You have nothing to fear as you return to the Lord Jesus. Keep yourself true to His cause. Fellowship with His people........and you will
begin to know His blessing, Such Blessing.... Your cup will 'run over' if you are sincere.

Blessings to you.....in His True Love.

There is not much i can tell you. You have to find Jesus Christ in your own way... I promise he is here with you and you should not worry. He LOVES YOU.... HE MADE YOU..... YOU ARE HIS. be his openly... love him and trust in him.

Nevertheless, I'm still going to choose to seek Jesus. I'm going to keep knocking until He opens.
Holding fast to John 6:37 that Jesus will in no wise cast out those who come to Him.
God is pulling me toward Him, I'm going to believe that. I do believe that.
I don't want to reject Him, I want to follow Him with all my heart.

I know there are other sins in my life, (complaining one of them)
but I'm going have God help me with that and the others.

I desire much to be around God's people in my own life. I enjoy the people of the Lord.
I want to be around people who want to follow Christ too.
Yesterday I took the chance to witness to someone about Christ. God wants me to share His Gospel.

I just have to stop doubting all the time and worrying. Jesus told Martha in Luke 10:41,
"And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things:

Hi Amby,

Its amazing to see that you know so many verses and that you are able to have an introspect as to what's not right in the sight of God.
So why not do the Word and overcome : complaining and others?
We are to walk by the Spirit, and the only way is to do the Word. John 6:63

Your sins have been forgiven Amby, ALL of them. Psalm 103

God is not ashamed of you at all.

2Tim 1:7
God bless

victory is your story

hi Amby
are you more aware
of how much you are
to Him
now

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith.
1John 5:4
all of 1John is beneficial to read

let God persuade you with His love

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:31-39

this same love
is yours
in Christ

what you want is special
just want Christ
He wants you
too

let God persuade you with His love

He brought me to the banqueting house,
and his banner over me was love.
Song of Solomon 2:4

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

rejoice
sing a new song
Christ is mine
what more could I want

always let God persuade you with His love in Jesus Christ

Sister Ambry. First let me say what the other sisters and brothers put up to tell you, helps all of us, not just you sis. Remember Ambry when God called his Son his beloved? ( matt 3:17) What happened right after that?YEP!! matt 4:3 But notice something very important here!!The devil omitted the Word beloved!!Do you know why This was so? because those who first receive knowledge of God's love, then receive wisdom from God's love, and that wisdom is tranfered to a living wisdom, and action taken from that! Was Jesus troubled here?? lol Did Jesus have any fear?? lol

This was an example given from our jesus to us his children in how wisdom grows from such wonderful knowledge!( 1 john 4:4-7)We are called beloved twice here!GOD"S BELOVED!! The same as Jesus was called! It has only taken me some 30 plus years to figure this out sis!! LOL You see sis, we cannot give God's love to anyone until we have received his wisdom from knowledge gained by HIs Word! So that no matter how we may feel,no matter what, we KNOW God's LOVE for US!!THEN!!! We can give this as Jesus himself said to do from john 13:34. The large words are not yelling sis, they are large so you see them better is all!hehe

John 8:32, this my sister we have all seen many times, but verse 32 lacks all without verse 31!For from verse 31 only does verse 32 come to bear its wisdom! So now dear sister we examine ourselfs daily. ( 2 cor 13:5) we measure our time to and for the Lord! How do you balance out??This good sister we all must come to judge in our own life.I sure know I had to! The joy of the Lord is our strength, but only after we KNOW God's love abides in us.God's love cannot be tossed around,it does not wavier, it has no measure! ( psalms 139:13-18!) Wisdom from knowledge good sister!! Wisdom from knowledge! Abide in the word, and the word will abide in you, to renew our minds is the knowledge we recieve,( rom 12:1-2)but to keep them renwed daily is the wisdom from that knowledge! And this is how our action shows the true wisdom from God we have sis.

Take great comfort in these words, for by them, wisdom grows, and attains our very faith! This teaching came from Holy Spirit( 1 john 2:27) I take no credit for it,but I sure have received great wisdom from HIM! ( 1 cor 2:16)Wisdom in Jesus can only come from abiding in our Jesus, and in his very word, which he gave us to abide in. For those who do this, knoweldge is obtained, and from those who do not allow feeling or emotion or circumstances to take them away from this knowledge wisdom is transfered! And from this wisdom!! Not only perfect love in and by our Jesus!! By also!! the final result to our very faith!! PERFECT!!!! PEACE!!!( philp 4:4-9!!) And then from this!!Can we in turn give this to another who so needs it, or needs to be reminded of this!( john 13:34) is now made a a part of us! An abiding! And then!!! Jesus abides in you, and around you all the time 7 days a week 24 hours in every day!( john 14:23!) May this bring you much comfort dear sister, and may you move on in our Jesus as what you truly are in him! An OVERCOMER!! ( rom 8:31-39!! God bless you sis!

Hi Amby, welcome to a great forum. Amby, no matter how desperate, how eager, how desirous you are to have Jesus in your life, know this. That your desperation, your hunger, your eagerness to have Jesus pales into insignificance compared to the hunger and desire that Jesus has for you. Jesus is head over heels in love with you Amby and if you have invited Him into your life, there is no way , no one, and no thing that will keep Him out. No sin, no matter how great, will discourage Him. He has already dealt with every possible sin in your life 2000 years ago. Your problem Amber is not whether or not Jesus is in your life, but believing that He already is! The passion you feel for Him doesn't come from a vacuum, not from a sinful and sinladen soul. No, no. The love and desire you have for Jesus comes directly from the Holy Spirit abiding in you now!! It was Him that has been knocking at the door of your life and the moment you opened your heart to receive Him He came in with a great rush and and you will have to fight real hard with great determination to change His mind and convince Him to leave. What you need to do Amby is to simply trust in His love. You may not understand it, nor what He wants to do with your life, but you can trust Him with it. Always. Rest in Him. Relax. All is good and He will do a great work in you as you allow Him. He won't intrude upon your freewill, but the moment you give Him the go-ahead, He will change your life. Forever. Let go and let God.
God bless.

*cries out* I'm not made perfect in love. I want to be.
None of us are perfect as we are human and live on this earthly planet. The beautiful thing is that we are forgiven for all we've done and will do through the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. Trust in that. All of those bible verses you quoted were written for you just as they were for me and our other brothers and sisters. Continue to seek Him, and to pray. Know that we're here to support you :)

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. "Matt 6:33

I am not the original poster, but have struggled in much the same way for so many years. Thank you so much for these words. They are exactly what I need to hear. My problem, also, in in the believing.
