I need friends.

Having God's love and His friendship is the amazing things that i ever had in my life.
And i need to be surrounded by people who love God too, because i know that will help me a lot not to wander away from Him.
Though i have a problem in approaching people, i have this fear of what people may think about me, if they're gonna accept me...and these really a big obstacles on my life in general. I am more comfortable in my room than outside with others. Apart from church and fellowship, i don't like much going out.

Please do not worry about what people think of you.

The Lord loves you and thinks very much about you. He wants to be your friend, and since you are loved by Jesus, you are definitely very acceptable.
People always judge others.... and Jesus explains to us to not judge others.
I want you to see that while you are concerned about how others judge you, you are judging that they will judge you, so I encourage you to accept people and wait to see if they do indeed judge you.... and if they do.... well, let it be that they judge Jesus in you.

You love the Lord, and He loves you.... so you are a very beautiful soul, and precious in His sight, so no matter where you are, He sees you and thinks lovingly of you. It is enough to bring you great joy.

I encourage you to read more about Jesus in the Gospels.

See how He went amongst the people and learn from Him, my friend. As you draw near to Him in prayer, you will be strengthened. Trust in His love and care for you, and go out, little bits at a time, and get used to doing it. You will see that it is OK to go out.

Take with you His joy and let it be your strength. We all have weakness and it is the Lord who is our strength, not us, so trust in Him, not yourself nor your fears about going out.

When you go out, be praising the Lord and singing in your heart to Him, letting your light shine in the darkness of the world. He is with you alway.

Read about Jesus, talk to Jesus and go out for Jesus.

Look4hope, Now that you are a child of the Living God, you are no longer apart of this world, you are now a light in a dark place, salt on a flavorless generation. You shine from a mountain top now, be not conformed with this world. Stand with boldness and shout with joy. Give Praise to God Almighty for His Salvation.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Remember that if your friends reject you they are not just rejecting you alone, but Christ also. This is why it's important to surround yourself around believers in Christ. To help build you, edify you and help you grow strong in the Lord.

Jhn 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

thank you all for the really uplifting, and strong advice. I'll send you news when i pass that step, ok. But still i have to figure out wher do i have to start, and which place to go. I don't want to wonder away from God anymore, and i want to glorify Him in everything i do, so can you give me some hints guys, which place and which kind of environment do i have to be part of, or do i have to avoid...sorry kind of crazy question but i really wanna know, it'll for a great help to me.

Well, i don't know, but i started to visit my friends and neighbour around here, not much but, well, i try to be nice with them, smile from time to time, with little conversation...because somewhere in me i know that as a messenger of Christ, i have to spread his love and gospel by any means, sooo...that's how far i went...for the moment

The only one that can judge us is the Lord and he loves s no matter what we do!
Try meeting up with people from Church, they may intoduce you to their friends and then you will gain more friends that way.
Or look at local groups you can join! have confidence sister because Jesus has faith in us so why not have faith in him.
Let him guide you

You may not feel like this, but you are bold.
If it did not bother you to hide yourself at home, you never would have asked if you should change... but you did ask, and are even now asking for ways to change yourself for the better. No one can see the Light of the Lord in you if you are hidden...
So I agree with other posts, try being around other believers. Does your church have small group bible studies? How about fellowships designed specifically for your age group? Ask your pastor if you can volunteer around the church.
Some believers judge others, I pray that you won't have to deal with that, but if you do, remember that God has not given you the spirit of timidity but of power. Rest in God's strength and not your own.
It is always difficult to get out of your comfort zone... but it seems that you are ready to do it.

Hi!

Hi to you all.
It's been a long time since the last time i've been here, but i've got great news to share with you all, my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I've accepted Christ in my life since last saturday, so am now a born again Cristian. I''ve never been so happy in my life, so full of his peace and his Joy and His happiness. All those worries that i've had before just solved by itself and God's work in my life is so amazing that he just changed everything (in just a sec). Now i feel comfortable to go toward others, to share and to feel that Great love God has for me. Amnow a fervant member of our Christian fellowship group, at my University. And i still desire to work for Him, through Christian activities. And i want to start this sunday teaching the Gospel to Kids.
I feel he is now present in my heart and i feel a constant desire to know more about Him, to trust Him, to dedicate my life to Him, just to do everything to glorify and Honor Him.
I've never felt that sooo good in my life. I now pray that lots of my friends and families, and people around the Lord will know how great and amazingly wonderful it is to have Jesus Christ in your Life.
He just took away all the bad things in my life, insecurities, fears, sadness, hopelessness, dissapointment, etccc....and made me new again.
Now i am not worried or afraid anymore cause i have Him, and I believe he is my strength and my protection, and wherever i go i know He is with me and that everything is fine.
I thank you all for all the encouragement, because those help me a lot to come closer to God. Now i have quite a bunch of Christian friends.
