I need help

Hi.

I need help, i think im lost. but i know that god wants to help me but i cant let him or i dont know. im feling so lost.

Heres some history about me before i was saved.

First of all i was an average kid that did little bit of everything, Smoking, Drinking and i tryed drugs once in awile. after that i met jesus and he saved me from all these bad things and i actuly starting to be more glad over my life.

And heres the problem.

I think god has abandon me. i have be so unhappy for a quitet some time now, and it seams to be that i cant be happy even if i pray every day.

I really need help, ive been christian for about 1 year now.
What can the problem be.

You say you "feel" lost. That does not necessarily mean that you are lost.

It sounds as if there may not be many Christ-followers (Christians) around you. Do you have regular fellowship with other believers?

I noticed on your profile that you don't have a favorite book. Dear brother, if you will read the Bible I am sure it will become a favorite of yours.

Do you think that God saved you through Jesus and that now you have just drifted away? It sounds as if that is what has happened. Remember: God didn't drift away from you. You drifted away from Him. He still wants you and cares about you.

Humm well the first point was a clean hit. I got fellow christians but I dont talk to them very often, I still got my old friends from my old times.

I read the bible sometimes but to less I think, perhaps I should read more.

Yes i was saved through Jesus, and now I've drifted away. but i have tryed to stay focused on the right path but i seem to keep forgett HIM.
I am probably flowing the mainstream.
