I Need Help

Hi, I actually been on hear for almost this same reason a while ago. But this has been driving me crazy, its been going back and forth and I dont know what to do, ok well Its like I know im saved because i asked Jesus into my heart but I keep doubting and trying to have faith. And not often but every once in a while like at night I start feeling realy scared like im not saved or something, and im assuming its the devil making me doubt and get scared but i hate that feeling and I lay in bed just praying and praying to God(Im crying just thinking about it) and i feel like God doesnt hear/like me or something, so I want to know how to have complete faith in God and in my salvation. I ask God to comfort me when im feeling scared but I just cant feel or see Him. And when I try to read the Bible, its like all a blur and I feel like I dont understand it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

First .... just want you to know I am praying now for you....

now, sister, I want you to know something....

you are not the only one to ever have thoughts of doubt pester you... I know I certainly did... and it seems like that is a pretty common sort of lie from the devil to try and get us to deny the Lord and what He has done for us and in us....

So, tell the liar to scram! Go on... tell him now... get lost satan... cos I am not lost.. I have Jesus!

The Lord is with you, and those feelings or thoughts about not being comforted are sometimes us looking at us... looking still at our worries or concerns.... instead of looking unto Jesus.... our Lord and Saviour.

He is beautiful and words can not describe just how beautiful He is, but your heart speaks His language, sister, and doesn't get bogged down with words.... so look to the Lord from now on, not at any doubts, nor fears, and not to you.... begin to see more clearly your loving friend, Jesus Christ the Lord.

Can I ask.... do you fellowship with other Christians? If not, please do. It make every bit of difference in our life with Jesus... we just have to fellowship with one another.
I don't know if you have access to a PC all the time, but if you ever feel the need, log on and fellowship here. Don't be shy.... everyone needs some fellowship, including everyone here at Talk Jesus, so log on and link up with your brothers and sisters in Christ here.
But also please make sure you connect with people near you too, where you live.

Now as for reading the Scriptures, just bite off little bits. Perhaps a verse of two from the Gospels. Better a little well chewed that a lot you can't swallow!

Now remember I am praying for you and I would really like you to write here again and tell us how you are getting on. I am not the only one praying either.

Do you pray for people? Praying is also a blessing to you, my sister. Especially since you are talking with Jesus and doing what He likes best... loving others! If you haven't been praying much... that's OK, but do start to.... you will find your faith being strengthened heaps as you do, which means all those doubting thoughts will just vanish!

Thanks, Your message really helped I dont really fellowship much, Im pretty shy around people I dont know but me and my family go to church sunday morning, sunday night and wednesday night, which that always helps me, I love going to church. I pretty much have access to the computer all the time so I could come on here sometimes. And yes I pray for people alot. But I sometimes feel like God doesnt hear my prayers but I still try.

I am praying for you. As Br.Bear said you are certainly not alone in experiencing these feelings. When you begin to doubt your salvation ... remember that as Christians we dont need to trust our own frail feelings but just the power of His redeeming blood.

I the Lord have called thee... and will hold thy hand Isaiah 42:6

He will never leave you or forsake you.

He really does know and understand what you are going through.

Just lean upon Jesus and He will carry all your burdens.
