Hello everyone!!!!
Well I need you all to help me a bit.
Our youth group at my church are organizing this very elegant dinner for married couples of our church, first looking to serve them and give them a time to share romantic evening and to have a fun time.
The thing is that I'm one the persons in charge of the menu and the chef as well haha
I would love you to give me some ideas for the menu. It's very elegant, and remember we need something not too difficult, not too expensive, and its for like 60 people, so we have to do everything in important quantity. We are two girls cooking the whole thing.
I hope I could get some great ideas from you!
God bless you all and thanks for the help!!!

Sis, Haynaru

When I try to be the romantic cook for my Wife. I make steaks, and salad, sweet potatoes, as that's about all I can cook.. LOL.

My Wife doesn't like Mexican food, and I love it, so it might be a good idea to first find out what everybody likes. If they all say steak, then your going to need to fork some money, or buy a 1/4 side of beef.

You might want to consider Italian food. There are many good Italian dishes that are not that hard to make. You can buy huge Stoffers trays of Italian foods if you want to save money. Then make a large fancy green salad, garlic bread with oil dip, and a tray of sliced meats with cheeses to get them started. italianfoodforever.com has lot's of great recipes and ideas.

MMMM Now I'm getting hungry..

HEy there! thank you His child for your ideas. I'll consider italian, but I'm not sure.
I think is very sweet from you to cook for your wife, Ill consider that as well for what id love my husband to do when I get to meet him hahahahah
thanks brother!

God bless you

more ideas!!!!

arroz con pollo<<< la bomba!

You can never go wrong with Italian food either. Maybe lasagna? :shade:

ideas

When helping a friend that caters she almost always used boneless, skinless chicken breasts - marinated or just some oil and spices baked in the oven. Salad (with vedalia onion dressing). A steamed veg would be nice as well as rolls and say red skin potatoes with butter and parsley. Or rice with salsa...

Dessert: chocolate sauce on the plate with either a brownie, cheesecake or special cake on top. Or berries with chocolate drizzled on it....

Hope that helps or gets more ideas going.
