My Beloved,

As we read it in 1 Corithians 12, the Holy Spirit gave to al of us to be eiter an Apostle, eiter a Pastor, or a Prophet and so on. However, until now and tough I be convinced about becoming a Missionary, I wonder if I am really following the rigt Way, theone my Lord GOd really made for me. Then, I would like you to help me how to be fully convinced and very sure for my conviction about doing the Mission.

Thanks a lot for responding me.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ
:

1Co 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
1Co 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1Co 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Twice it has been shown to say God gave some these offices and not all. The body is many members and all cannot be the head, the eyes, the hands, etc.

So again, each person has been given gifts (severally as He wills) and each has a specific function in the body.

We must learn to wait upon the Lord for direction, He will reveal His will and plan to us and we will get not only a peace in our spirit over this but a confirmation (in the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses a thing is established).

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
My recommendation is to press into His presence with prayer, worship and reading the Word. As we do these things our mind becomes clear as the distractions of the world are muted. As we do these things (seek Him first) we are transformed in our minds and our hearts begin to line up with His will for our lives. Serving Him in that which we are called becomes our greatest joy.
How many have hurried out on a mission only to find themselves "went" but not "sent". If we wait upon the Lord, if we diligently seek His face we will move with the Cloud by day and the Pillar by night. We will move in perfect union with His plans for us.
I will be praying for you my friend.
Many blessings in His Name,
your brother Larry.

I agree with Boanerges here Alive4Jesus, Paul also said "are all apostles, are all prophets?".

If I were you I think it best to just focus on following Christ and becoming a good brother to others and Jesus will work out the rest.:shade:

you said you wonder if you are following the right way. do you think God will call you but not let you in on it? especially since it is his spirit thru us that does the ministry. apart from Christ we can do nothing. you wont miss the calling.
when or if He calls you you will know.
you will know because you know because you know.
if in your spirit you have urgency to know then seek Him harder on it. God gives us the desires of our heart.
