I think its sad that now a days the Rainbow that God uses to remind us that he will never flood the earth again is now used in the "Gay" community. What are your thoughts and feelings towards this?

The Rainbow was a promise to mankind that God will not be destroying the Earth again with Water. That promise was to everyone, even the Gay community.

God made everything, so everything that someone uses came from God. Let's not be troubled by these things as God also gave everyone Jesus, and that is the thing to be focused on.

lets just say its not the use of a rainbow that is the concern. but the condition of the hearts of those who chose that life style before God that should matter..somtimes IMHO we forget the real mission and over look salvation tring to be correct.

People are quick to judge the homosexuals who are in obvious error for everything they do when their sin is just sin. Many who judge them sit in their pews on Sunday listening to a preacher tell them that they don't need to fret over their own sin as Jesus has already paid for it, past, present and future. The tragedy will be on judgement day when these two groups are placed side by side and both are told to depart from the Lord into everlasting fire. It is all about repentance from dead works to serve the living God in newness of life. Sharing the gospel and informing those who believe it that they must also obey it if they are to be chosen as many are called but few are chosen. But the God is not willing that any who believe should perish but that they should come to repentance.

Lets remember that the Lord only prayed for those who would believe and not the world. The best we can hope for is that after we preach the gospel of God to them, they will come to believe and possibly repent of their deeds and be saved. A preacher of righteousness is all God expects you to be, and that for their benefit not our own. Let us then, pick up our cross, die to ourselves and follow Jesus so that the world may see the truth in us and become convicted of it.

the enemy will try to counterfeit God because he cannot create. take for instance a gift of the Holy spirit is the word of knowledge. in witchcraft there is whats called a familiar spirit. a spirit that goes out and finds out stuff and returns to the witch. another example is in revelations where the enemy is gonna trick every one to worship him saying he is God(except believers). by placing another meaning on the rainbow is a way to dilute and bury in the pages of history God and his promise.

this is what i think. i dont think that plan will work though.

1) It is God's rainbow, we never lost it, it was not ours in the first place.

2) Yes, I understand the physics, but what does that have to do with the price of bananas?

3) We did not attach any message onto a rainbow. God created a rainbow as a sign of His covenant with us. He did it not us.

Hate the sin, not the sinner. I love rainbows! I seen a double rainbow just a few days ago and it was awesome! It does bother me that they use it....because if have something with a rainbow on it, some assume you are gay. I have things with rainbows, and it reminds me God. I know what the rainbow means. It bothers me more that they are deceived by Satan's lies. I have a cousin who is gay. I love her and her partner dearly but breaks my heart that they are gay. I see gay items and it bothers me like I said, 1. they use the rainbow...2. they live outside of how God designed things.
