I wish i could hang around another 20 years

"I wish i could hang around another 20 years"

You might,

You might get to stay around, for the next "1000 years" and grow old.

Isaiah 65 NIV84
20“Never again will there be in it
an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years;
the one who dies at a hundred
will be thought a mere child;
the one who fails to reach a a hundred
will be considered accursed.

True.
I would love to be with the Lord and thr Saints now. But i would also like to stick around and see things develope and play out.
Have to wonder what things will be like in just 10 years at the rate of decline we are experiencing.
My daughter is 7 weeks pregnant. I hate knowing my grandchild will be at the ungodly peoples mercy. It breaks my heart.
"Woe to them who give suck in those days"
I do not believe in abortion,it is immoral and ungodly,but at the same time,i almost wish he would take the child and save him/her the grief it will suffer.
I know though that is a lack of faith on my part.

I don't even worry about things like that. You want to see how things play out? You don't want to be involved, you just want to hand around and rail bird it? I'm not into seeing how things play out, I know that's a really common Christian dream, or prayer or wish ("Dear Jesus, can I please be the recipient of an exciting live drama?") but personally it's just like the last thing I'm interested in. Anyone who makes it to Heaven, if they are saved in the end, will find out then what happened while they were out. I mean humanly I understand, you have a pregnant kid, but you know things aren't going to change any from the way they are now.

Wow, that's an interesting wish. I wish I was that interested in my fellow man, but I'm just not. In terms of actual religion, it's all Theology, angels, "the part about God" that's of interest to me at all. I remember when I was a little kid, mom used to play that family game, "what will Heaven be like", to "who do you want to meet in Heaven?". I still look on the bright side of things. The answer to the first one is obviously "Eye hath not seen or ear heard." The second game I could have kept up with, you know, I could have prayed for people that "I'd see them in Heaven", One is that it's Jesus that's the Judge, so why should I bother trying to pray someone into heaven, especially if I don't like them?
