Many nights when I lay
my head down to sleep.

I wonder what my life
would be like without
you Lord?

I wonder would I be
the man you have
destine me to be?

When walking these dark
roads alone I start to dwell
on the past hurt and pain.

That left me scared
and weary.

Fading away like a
lost memory.

Then I wonder what my life
would be like without your
arms stretched out for me?

Running back like the prodigal
child who strayed away from home.

I wonder what my life would be
like if you wasn’t there for me?

All alone thinking about how
I’m going to get by the next day.

Believing in your promise
that you’ll never leave me.

I wonder how you could
love someone like me?

Dying on the cross for a
poor sinner like me?

I wonder.
