If Christmas really is about Jesus
It should be about the One who freed us
The One who delivered us from slavery
So that we can now live for Him bravely

We should all be living for Him truly
Doing what His word teaches us duly
Giving honor to Him living daily
Doing what He says we’re to do gaily

We should share of the gospel with others
Including with our sisters and brothers
We should tell of His life, death, and message
Telling of how He died to now bless us

For He lived and He died to deliver
The ones who are living as believers
Whose lives are committed to now serve Him
Because now from their sins He has freed them

I think it's just nice to know the are others that are giving thanks n rejoicing in His birth and thanking the Father on the day of Christmas
Sharing the Word with another should be every chance that we get to..

John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease..

Idk what day the Lord was exactly but it seems this day was set way before I came along....

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Even the heavens rejoiced over the coming of the Messiah.

I believe it's the where the person's heart is..

Idk just my thoughts

Thank you for reading and for sharing your thoughts on this subject, Twistie. I appreciate your input. But we should be celebrating the life of Jesus Christ every day of the year, and we should be sharing with others the gospel of our salvation every opportunity we get, and regularly, as a matter of our life course, how we live our lives day in and day out. And Jesus asked us to remember him in this way, in remembering his death on that cross to deliver us from our slavery to sin, and his resurrection so that we can die with him to sin and be resurrected with him to newness of life in him in walks of holiness and righteousness and obedience to his commands. We should be giving out the message of his life and purpose and cause and what he did for us so that others can come to genuine faith in Jesus Christ and live for him daily, too. This is how he wants to be celebrated, and every day of our lives. We must not forget that. Again, thank you!!
