People think that God will do things when they get the faith, wrong. Let's see, Hebrews 11:1 says Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That kind of thinking is actually backwards. Because, if faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, that means you can't have the faith unless it's already done by God. Think about it, how can you have the substance of something if it doesn't exist. By the very scripture itself tells you that. So, it's not that you have to have the faith for God to do it, you have to have the faith to receive it. When Jesus said, "According to your faith so be it unto you", he's not determining. Look at the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34:

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Number 1) Jesus did not determine the healing, she came up from behind, he didn't even know who did it. Number 2) The scripture says he turned to see her that had done this thing, how did she do it. Number 3) Jesus said, "Your faith hath made you whole," so faith had a role in it. Number 4) You see the first thing she did was she said, "If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." That's where a lot of people miss it, faith is not something you keep in your heart, no, faith should be released or spoken. Faith has to be released and the main way is by speaking it.

2 Corinthians 4:13 says, We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. So, when you believe you speak, your heart and mouth work together. Romans 10:10 says, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Notice, when you have something in your heart there should be corresponding words that match it. Matthew 17:20 says, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Speaking what you believe is important in receiving from God. Because, what's in your heart is suppose to come out of your mouth. In Matthew 12:34 it says, O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. The scripture even tells us, Let us hold fast the profession(confession) of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised). One of the main ways to get something in your heart is by speaking it. Notice, Romans 10:8 says, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. So, if you don't believe it then speak it to believe it and if you do believe it then speak it to receive it.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
