Here recently, I've heard on the news that people in the hurricane ravaged region will be allowed to vote via email. Now this seems to many to be a fair and honorable thing to do, but to me, it literately screams fraud. Why? Well, setting up a vote via email system within a few days of an election will most likely be prone to hackers and it would not surprise me if the government conveniently made up a few extra emails to get a candidate elected, or if people tried to misuse the system. Even if it's one vote per email address. people could still vote twice, perhaps more than twice. And if it's one vote per internet IP, and someone had two different internet, go figure. And if someone had one internet IP and two or more eligible voters in the household, then only one of them would get to vote. Not only that, but not everyone has access to an Email account, or electricity for that manner.
Is anyone else concerned about this or is it just me.
