I'm back

Sorry for being away for such a long while. I lost the link as well as my way, for a good long while. I trafficed with people who made me question my faith and my ideals. I became intoxicated with being popular with a group of Atheists and walked down that path for awhile. They finally showed themselves as the self centered people they were and forced me to rethink things.

My life had taken a spin in the wrong dirrection and my personality became dark and my fortunes had changed drastically. I got into things, that weren't illegal, but were demeaning to my spirit and to the way I viewed the world around me. I took inventory of my life and found it lacking anything to be proud of and what I was doing was not at all working out.

I feel like the periodical son that didn't learn from the original parabol. I started preying again and I'm beinging to feel better about myself. I've closed out the accounts on the web sites that I once loved to go and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my body. I just hope it's not too late to salvage the tattered remains of my earlier life . Thank you.

Welcome back kvnchrist to the path that has been waiting for you to continue your walk.

Might I suggest, that you write-out your testimony, so even you can verbalize at least on paper the path that has brought you back to the light of our Lord Christ Jesus.
Not easy, but it can be helpful and beneficial in the healing process that happens when you've gone from darkness to light.

Just as you once left, for whatever reason (part of the testimony), to the awakening to the fact that the dark is not what the world makes it out to be, which is deceitful yet alluring with promises it cannot fulfill. To the light that only sheds truth which may at times might seem inglorious to a world trained mind, but given greater growth to a reborn one, becomes one of greater joy unimagined by a dying world.

So press on in the race. Keep praying, reading scripture, fellowship with other believers, living and walking with the spirit with the knowledge that He will never desert you or forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I think you've done a good thing getting back to 'Talk Jesus' I have been away from here a long time myself but I'm praising the Lord Jesus He has still been keeping me along the way. There's nothing or no-one worth walking away from Jesus, I hope you will realize that, stay here and be built up again and keep remembering that no one loves you as much as the Lord does.

Studied with them for two years from the age of 10-12.

I honestly believe that to fulfill God's purpose it becomes necessary for some brothers and sisters now in Christ to travel different paths in order to have the experiences necessary to fulfill that purpose. Not that God makes these choices for us, rather that the choices we make as sinners, can be turned around for His good purpose.

It's normally why the person who has traveled the hardest roads in life, when born again, are able to move others to tears upon the hearing of their testimonies. It confirms what we know, with God there is no respect of persons. (Romans 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.)

Doesn't matter whether you are Greek or Jew, highly or lowly born, rich or poor. His arms are wide open to receive all who would come to Him. Alleluia!

My favorite part of the prdocal Son is where the Father does two very specific things ...He watches for the Sons return and rushes to welcome him back...so He can place a robe a ring and shoes on Him ...the robe is a sign of protection ,the ring is a sign of sonship , and the shoes to me show walking a right path again...and then He celebrates the sons return .. Welcome home brother..The Father has been waiting for you...Rev

Now has never been a better time to let Jesus take those broken pieces of your life, and let Him create a beautiful mosaic with them.
Dear brother, there is nothing you can do , there is not a big enough stain that you can make, to make Jesus love you more or love you less.
He loves without condition. Listen closely, and you will hear Him whisper, "follow me."

Brother Kvnchrist Luke 15:3-7 The Lord understands us,he always has my brother.Who among us has not failed in some way in our relationship with our Jesus? I sure know I have! We as humans always wish to look to something we ourselves can do,to find a way,to not only speak about how sorry we are,but also how we came back. But it was not you, who brought you back,it was Holy Spirit in you,see brother he never ever left you!He never will leave! And even when you were not doing things that were pleasing to the Lord,his love for you, never ceased,it cannot be bought,and it cannot be earned! This you now understand,and by understanding just how great his love is for us all!We now can have perfect peace and rest in his LOVE! Welcome back brother! It is so nice to see Jesus always searching for his sheep that become caught in the wire of life. STAY THANKFUL!! to the Lord daily bro!( 1 thess 5:18) This is the very will of God in our life for us all! Blessing bro
