hi sorry i know i posted this in the poetry forums was before i knew there was a soulmates a place for singles trying to find love, and thats what this poem is about. me trying to find love and reach out to let her know what im looking for and who I am.

Im Single and Looking

I am a simple man with a great big loving heart
With a passion for loving Christ my redeemer
Who I am a published Author for till He takes me home

I love my music which Christ uses to speak to me
Through golf He keeps me humble which leads to humility
When looking at His creation cant help thinking aww in wonder

I know im not perfect I do have my flaws and physical needs
But through the Lord I will work through turning them into blessings
I know the good Lord will send me some one to love me as I am

All I am looking for is a girl with a good smile that tells me shes happy
That tells me the breath of Christ is within making her body gloe of beauty
That shines, that speaks to me love me as God created me to be

All I ask of a girl is that she be clean of smoke prefers not to drink
And would love to have children to teach and grow in Gods eternal love
In this house we will serve the Lord

If you would like to give this simple man with a great big heart a chance
If God is speaking to you that this guy might be the one he sent for you
Then please let this poet know

Cross Roads Of Love

Oh, Lord send me show my lonley heart the way to true love
Don’t know where to turn or where to go I’m at the cross roads
How many more broken roads must I travel till I find true love

I keep wishing upon a star but hitting all but my own star of True love
Feels like Im throwing peices of my heart at the stars instead of wishes
If I dont find the one soon I wont have any heart left to throw

Oh my true Love are you really out there or am I to make others happy
And forget my own hearts desires to try and find true Love in this life time
If that’s what will become of me, least I save others from a lonely heart

I know I need to be patient, but when you already found true love its easy to say
Even harder to do if your still traveling that broken road in seach of true love alone
With the heart feeling like its time to give up

Still standing at the cross road not sure which way to go
Oh, Lord which way so tired of going the wrong way
Fliping a coin there she was but couldnt see a face

Could it be really true, while I was searching for her along the broken road
She was travling the same broken road of her own in search of her true love
While I was searching for her, she was searching for me

While I was looking at her, she was looking at me
The Son was too bright yet to make out faces
But she sure looked like an Angel from Heaven
