Seems like when life is so good, a bit of the reality of the "flesh", steps in.
I have become worn and weary and am feeling not far from Jesus, but I am not feeling the joy right, the joy I live and breathe with. My spirit is at a bit of a low level and I am tired and can't seem to recall scripture. It would be so good if you could pray to our Lord Jesus Christ and ask Him to renew my strength and gladden my faith. I just miss smiling today. I can't even seem to post my daily devotion to God. I wanted to do it every day. I am so in love with God.

Thank you and I hope that tomorrow brings the level of my spirit, more closer to His. Please keep me in your prayers. Amen:Pixie

I am praying for God to strengthen you, pixie. Just remember, we can't rely on our emotions or our own understanding, but must constantly pray and ask the Lord to guide us and strengthen our faith. Satan may throw arrows at us, but Jesus is always present to shield us. Put on the whole armor of God!(read Eph. 6:11-18). May God bless you.

I will pray for you Pixie. I'm sorry you're feeling so down.

I agree with Faithin1, rely on GOD to pull you through & keep on praying.

I've read many of your postings.

And you give such wounderful advice & encouragement.

Do you remember these words?

What if Christ who loves you, took you from the rocky ground and planted you in His own tender garden? The walk with Jesus is beautiful Jonah2005. He always wants to love us and He is so worthy of being loved. He is our Lord and Saviour and I am sure that you are already sprouting.

Amen: Pixie:love: :rose:

That was from you, replying to one of my postings. The encouragement was overwhelming. And I thank you. :love:

There was another posting by you I was very touched by, too. http://www.talkjesus.com/women/11340-very-down.html

Remember too, we can find joy in the things that we love to do, espechially if the things we love to do is GOD given.

Don't be sad because you are a little tired. GOD didn't intend for you to take on the whole world all by yourself.

HE knows you care. HE knows you want to be there, for HIM, for HIS Son Jesus Christ & for all HIS children that Love HIM & Jesus Christ.

John 16:20-24
20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.

21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.

22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

Though Jesus was talking to His Disciples, this message was also past down to us & for us well.

Keep up the good work, but don't be shy in taking a break once in a while for rest. As long as HE is in your heart & HIS Rules & Regulations {Jesus Christ & The Teachings of Jesus Christ} are so deeply in your heart. {Psalms 119:11, Proverbs 3:1-3, 6:21, 7:3}

2 Corinthians 3:3
and it is plain that you are a letter from Christ, entrusted to our care, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God; not on stone tablets but on the tablets of human hearts.

Psalm 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. Amen!

Amen abigya I agree totally with you in this prayer.

Weeping may remain for a night but joy comes in the morning.

Whenever I am low I make sure I put on my praise music to lift my spirit back up again.
Neh.8.10

Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

11 The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a sacred day. Do not grieve.”

12 Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy, because they now understood the words that had been made known to them.

Psalm.21.

O Lord, the king rejoices in your strength.

How great is his joy in the victories you give!

2 You have granted him the desire of his heart

and have not withheld the request of his lips.

Selah

3 You welcomed him with rich blessings

and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—

length of days, for ever and ever.

5 Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;

you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.

6 Surely you have granted him eternal blessings

and made him glad with the joy of your presence.

7 For the king trusts in the Lord;

through the unfailing love of the Most High

he will not be shaken.

Ps.27

Then my head will be exalted

above the enemies who surround me;

at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;

I will sing and make music to the Lord.

7 Hear my voice when I call, O Lord;

be merciful to me and answer me.

8 My heart says of you, “Seek his* face!”

Your face, Lord, I will seek.

Ps.35

May those who delight in my vindication

shout for joy and gladness;

may they always say, “The Lord be exalted,

who delights in the well-being of his servant.”

28 My tongue will speak of your righteousness

and of your praises all day long.

Prov.3.5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Be sure to soak in the wonderful scriptures which God has given us in His love letter to us the BIBLE.

You are such a joy and blessing here sister pixie

May God touch refresh and restore to you the joy of your salvation

Not the wordly joy which is a feeling. They are good to have but not to be relied on as we are up one day and down the next.

It took me a long time to learn not live by my feelings.

Love you pixie :rose: :rainbow: :love: :girl_hug:

We all [believers] go through this sister. I'm not one to hide the truth. I've gone through it and maybe will happen again. Its a sad feeling but GOD understands and will help, heal, renew, rejuvenate and refreshen us when we ask in our private prayer closet one on one with GOD, in Jesus' name.

Be faithful and realize even in your post you gave a little nice praise to GOD :)
