Good day everyone! Please help me out on this subject. I am debating with myself whether or not I should give Talk Jesus a new theme / face lift so to speak. I will keep the same layout as you see it now (left column menu on home page, shoutbox on home page, etc) as you see it. Just a new theme (aka 'skin').

Here is the one I am looking at. In this case, the header is empty / dull but I can fix it to match the header now (the circle on top and the 'quick links' button above it centered). Please let me know what you think

Hi Chad,

This is a hard choice. I like them both actually. Whatever you choose will be fine with me. For me it is all about the fellowship and learning more about Jesus & praising Him. God bless you Chad. I appreciate all the hard work you have been doing.

Hey Chad, I'm the odd one out here lol. I like the current theme more than the element theme. But whatever you choose is fine.

A change, a face lift, a move on, can be helpful, and give a fresh start..... and presentation. Updating is important when improvements or a fresh look is required.

There seems to be two element themes? I like the blue one, I'm not a purple fanatic, I saw it at the products link.

i liked the Element Blue # + rather than plain Element.... anyway, the elements doesn't have any colourful and attractive layout thats there in this present skin.

I'd like to point out that IF the new theme is purchased, it would still have the same layout everywhere

* Home page still have the left column menu, shoutbox, header with daily quotes.
* Forums will still have verse of the day sub-header
* All other functions will still be there

i tell you chad, the current skin is vibrant. the element lacks it. Its too professional in its style and it takes the joy out of using the site.

think and make a choice.

Didn't we vote on this back in the spring? I remember going through different colours and layouts (skins?) Anyhow, what I said then is still how I feel, its like decorating, we change colours, we may re-arrange things, it just brings it up to date and makes it fresh. Churches get new fresh paint and up dated with new furniture etc, so why not TJ? I like the new idea, but if it remains the same way, no problem.

I agree with Calluna, a new skin brings it up to date and makes it fresh however, I have to be honest, I don't really like this stripy one you're considering. I would prefer a more 3D, futuristic feel.

I will say the same thing to you as I told my best friend when she was having problems searching for a wedding dress, (they were all beautiful but nothing looked quite right). "The dress isn't the most important thing (especially not to the groom) but if you have to ask whether or not others think that it is the right one then maybe it isn't. You'll just know deep in your heart when you find THE ONE. Don't get too fraustrated, just enjoy the fun and experience of shopping for it and trying those gorgeous dresses on until then"!

It kinda translates! Well, you know what I mean!
