In debt , Need your help

I really need your help because , I'm in debt , please tell me how do I get out of it , I have people been telling me that I have to pay up or else, I'm on a VERY low income, I have been so so worried that I just can't sleep at night , and because I feel stessed out , pressed I just feel like Taking my life (ok , I know thats not going to help , but it just because of all the pressure i'm under).
please, please help me and give me advice , how can I get out of debt.

Hi there sister

I see you are in England. Over here we have citizens advice bureau who can help you and give you advice. They have someone who works on finances and will help you with those you owe money and write to them offering what you can afford to pay them back even if it is only £1 a month.

I suggest you give them a call and talk to them as they deal with a lot of others with debt problems.

We need to be good stewards of the money God gives us and work out our expenses with our incoming money and budget accordingly.

I pray that you will be able to seek professional help on this and give the situation to God.

Ask God to help you to manage your finances properly in the future.

I agree with LLJ, if there are outlets for you to get help, then you should use those resources.

But also like Chad said, trust in the Lord.

What we try to frantically find solutions for, God already has the answers. Seek him Sister. Pray to Him.

Minory Girl.......You need help, and you need it quickly. Unfortunately many are not aware of the squeeze, banks, put upon low income families. Having in the first place encouraged their debt.

Here is a telephone number. 01924 488887 This will put you through to a Charity called Christians Against Debt. It has been going now for 10 years and has been of genuine help to many people. You will reach a lady called Pamala Millar. She does not work every day, but leave a message.

If you are too far away, from her office which is in Yorkshire, ask her for the national number which the Government has set up to help people like you. Do not worry.....these people will tell you what to do. Some of your debt.....certainly the accruing interest will be stopped.

I think you should start with this - with the worry out of the way you can trust in his might word that he will put you out of this situation! What a wonderful thing to be able to do, just throw everything that makes you worried or anxious onto him, he can handle, but without him we cant.

Hey Minory Girl. I am in a difficult financial stress too and I just never know how I will get the bills paid. The only outlet I have is God. I pray to Him often and always thank Him for what I have. I am terrified at my future and have to look to scripture to reassure me that I will be okay.

Praise God, because He is one really cool Guy.

Heavenly Father, I lift the burdens of minory girl up to You Oh Lord and I say it with a heart that has known burdens. No woman or man should have to experience suffering in this world. Evenly distributed, this world could care and nurture every one of us. Sad but true. Please dear Father and Friend look on minory's financial situation in it's troubled state and help repair her and help her meet her bills and not have to suffer so much financially.
