In need of some help!

Hi guys, lately i have been feeling really distant from God, i have had crazy things happening such as swear words going through my mind and sexually immoral thoughts, i have prayed and prayed but i feel like God don't want to help, i know He is there but it is as if He does not want to do anything.
I am becoming spiritually weary but i know i must keep praying but i feel i could slip away from Him.
PLEASE HELP, AY ADVICE AND PRAYERS WELCOMED.

I reply as someone who has experienced slipping away from God and praise His precious name I am now restored to Him. But there is no joy to be found in the 'world' for a Christian and my journey was dark and painful. So I will be praying brother that you will hold fast to your faith.

I have seen a poster on a local pentecostal church saying When God seems far away - guess who's moved...
Of course it's never God who moves away

You are a Christian travelling through a bleak dark world where satan will continually set traps and create slippery places for you to fall.

Although he is still a powerful enemy, he is defeated and his eternal doom is sealed. God's word says

Thanks be to God which giveth us the victory 1 Corinthians 15:57

The victory is ours through His grace. Brother you may feel weary praying...but prayer will strengthen you, it will become a breastplate for your heart against satan's attacks. So keep praying....keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus. Tell Him you are scared that you are slipping away and ask Him to hold you.

Be prepared for satans attacks by keeping the word of the Lord in your heart...meditate on His word. His word will shine as a bright light in your heart.

The entrance of Thy words giveth light Psalm 119:130

Ask the Lord to convict you powerfully everytime you are disturbed by awful or impure thoughts. Ask Him to remind you that they were sins that nailed Him on the cross.

Dont give up. Trust in the Lord to keep you. Keep praying ..you will be blessed. The Lord knows what you are going through....just trust that He will carry you through it.

I would pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to come into you brother.
We all have times when we feel distant from God but must stay strong.
Remember His promises he will never leave us or let us down.
Let Him be your rock!
My prayers are with you for as long as they are needed.

Hi aaron, this can happen even to those of us who have been walking with the Lord a long time. It is an assault by the enemy to win the battle of your mind. But Christ in you has victory. Don't focus so much on this but enter into praising and prayers whenever you are assaulted.

Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his
holy name.
Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits---(Ps. 103:1-2) (NIV)

Sometimes it happens when you are drawing even closer to God even though you don't feel like you are.

Trust in Him:

Isaiah 26:3-4 You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, is the Rock eternal.
