Whatever the proper word, it doesn't begin to describe His wonderful grace that calls us, convicts us, converts us, and redeems us for His glory.
Though raised in an atheistic home and schooled by secular humanists, the Lord rescued me from that pit and all its trappings some 50 years ago and have had no desire to return.
My simple purpose here is to help those who struggle with the simple basics of the faith.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
2 and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do if God permits.

You'd be surprised how many struggle with the basics.
Sometimes the basic stuff is the deeper stuff.
