One of the worlds foremost authorities on the 'End Times' was the long time president of Dallas Theological Seminary, John Walvoord . Walvoord wrote books by the dozen. Today Im bringing up two that span from 1979 to 1993, specifically The Rapture Question ,79, and The Final Drama- Fourteen keys to Understanding the Prophetic Scriptures , 93. Together nearly 400 pages dedicated 'End Times', and support of the DTS rapture theory. Dont worry I'm not going to go line by line pointing out the silliness . Rather if you happen to have these titles you can see for yourself or take my word for it. For what ? As simple fact that in these two excursions into the future ,based on Scripture, one of our Lord's most direct and pertinent prophecies is ----- missing completely. In the case of The Rapture Question John 6 is totally absent in the Scripture index, while The Final Drama lists a single reference to J 6;51.
It is far from ethical for a Seminary president to adopt the 'black out' tactic as Walvoord did for decades, against opposition authors and teachers, quite another to use it against Christ Himself.

Take heart fellows of Dallas Theological , Dr John has another title 'What We Believe' .
He dedicates 17 pages in chapter 12 to the discussion of rapture/resurrection . But alas not a mention of what John 6 and what Jesus taught about the 'last day' .
Still all is not lost , chapter 7 'What Must I do To Be Saved' he quotes 6;44 , strangely enough he doesnt have a thing to say about resurrection in that part.
So thats batting 1,000 , three for three.

The interesting thing about Jn 6:44 is that it allows hyper-calvanist's a chance to get something else wrong.

A hyper-calvanist, as you know reader, lives to try to create the Cross Rejecting idea that you could be one of those who "god chose for hell".
What's funny about that? not much.....except that you'll never meet one of these deceived and hateful rascals who will say that any of their family, or any of their church buddies, or any of their online cohorts in deception could possibly be one of those "destined for hell".
No no no... never can it be them, or their family, or their friends, or their .................

That's a very convenient way to believe a lie and teach it........in that its only everyone else that can be the "destined to burn in the lake of fire", "chosen by God = born to burn".

Speaking of the Devil.
That's one of his Masterworks.......the "predestined elect" Theology .
He vomited it up right out of the Pit.

So, anyway, as i was saying.....>John 6:44 says that no person can come to God/Christ unless the Father "draws them"..
Well, lo and behold....... Jesus explains this verse like this.....JOHN 12:32...."and if I be lifted up (on the Cross), i will DRAW ALL ALL ALL ALL ALL ALL MEN (people) to Me'""

Well reader, was Jesus lifted up on the Cross? He was.....???????? Well in that case, He is drawing ALL People to Himself.....
Now, go and read John 6:44, and see how "comparing scripture with scripture" can be clear as daylight and right as Truth.

See that?
Its good that you do, as no HyperCalvanist can see it with a laser-beam or a telescope., as their universal spiritual blindness does not allow it.

I strongly urge every fool to follow Bethel.

You sound bitter and closed minded, Hitch.
You can do better.
You just have to try.

Now....Here is something for you.

When you are dealing with a "predestined elect" heretic....the thing you have to realize is that they are theologically confused as well as deeply deceived.
So, that is the worst case scenario, Hitch.
For example, a believer can be "fallen from Grace" , as Paul explains in Galatians.......and that means they are deceived. However, They dont really have a theology issue that is confusing them, they have a "bewitched" issue, as Paul explains that becomes their confused theology.
They are "in the flesh", as Paul explains , having no longer correct faith.....And this happens, because they become self righteous, and the term i use them is......they become a "self saver".
See that?
They stopped trusting in Christ to KEEP them saved, and are now trying to do it by 'SELF"..........."self saving". "self effort". "works and commandment keeping"..........all of this, as its all the same deception that that have.........its always the same.

Now the Predestined elect heretic, they are both mind blinded by the devil, and they are theologically confused to the max.

Hitch, here i is how you teach them......to try to help them.... You first have to understand their theological confusion, and its very simple..

They do not understand what the "conformed"......... is literally talking about, when they read...>"predestined to be conformed"...
This confusion....is the entire cause of their theological and mental breakdown...... See, they do not understand that the "predestination", has a resolve...a resolution.........Its : "to be conformed".
So, that is where they lost the track and came apart, theologically and never went back.

Let me show you how to help them..

You teach them that to be born again, starts a process, that has a final ending, destination, and : "conforming".
This process is pre-determined to happen to every born again person., just as God created it to happen.
See, God created Salvation as a process that has a beginning and a final result.
This process of "born again", and becoming a "new creation", is designed to end a believer up ....here....= "conformed into the image of Christ".
See that?
That is what is "predestined"............ Its that all believers, (elect) born again, are predestined to end up......"conformed into the image of Christ".

See Hitch, what is pre-determined is what the process is going to resolve into ....... that is the "pre-destination".

So, what God did, is create a spiritual process, that is Salvation, that has a completed ending that is PRE-DETERMINED to happen to every Born again person.
This process that starts with the new birth, ends with the "conforming into the Image of Jesus"....and that is what is "pre-destined"., and this simple theology is completely twisted and subverted by heretics who belong to the Hyper Calvinist "pre-destined elect" cult.
These deceived people even teach that God created Evil, as if the Devil does not even exist.

Beware of them Hitch as if they brainwash you, its almost impossible to escape their cult unless you are fortunate and meet someone like me who can help you.

I probably should turn this post into a Thread.

Most likely...because nothing in John 6 has anything to do with the end times. I am curious how you think you would know better than someone who studied end times for most of his life...very curious indeed. Why he referenced John 6:51 is also a mystery...because it has nothing to do with the end times.

Perhaps you have been reading others who don't know what they are talking about...
