Some change is preferable to resist. It depends on the change, whether its for our spiritual good or not. If there was a change, saying worship some leader as God, thats the best easiest example to resist, regardless of the consequences. But yes, in most circumstances, we should not resist some change that is for our good, even if we dont want to do that changing.
