How does what you believe happened when Jesus lived in the 1st century, and what you expect in the future... how does it match statements in scripture?
Thus the Lord gave Israel all the land which he had sworn to give to their forefathers; they occupied it and settled in it. The Lord gave them security on every side as he had sworn to their forefathers. Of all their enemies not a man could withstand them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands. Not a word of the Lord’s promises to the house of Israel went unfulfilled; they all came true. (Josh 21:43-45 REB)
‘You gave them kings and their people as spoils of war. They took possession of the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the land of King Og of Bashan. You made their descendants numerous, countless as the stars in the sky, and brought them into the land you had promised their forefathers they would enter and possess. When their descendants came into the land to take possession of it, you subdued the Canaanite inhabitants before them, giving kings and peoples into their hands to do with them as they pleased. (Neh 9:22-24 REB)
Therefore, I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and given to a nation that yields the proper fruit.’ (Matt 21:43 REB)
‘Believe me,’ said Jesus, ‘the time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. (John 4:21 REB)
there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, because the same Lord is Lord of all, and has riches enough for all who call on him. (Rom 10:12 REB)
we are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, whose pride is in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the physical. (Phil 3:3 REB)
Circumcision is nothing; uncircumcision is nothing; the only thing that counts is new creation! All who take this principle for their guide, peace and mercy be upon them, the Israel of God! (Gal 6:15-16 REB)
But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out the devils, then be sure the kingdom of God has already come upon you. (Matt 12:28 REB)
‘The time has arrived; the kingdom of God is upon you. Repent, and believe the gospel.’ (Mark 1:15 REB)
He rescued us from the domain of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of his dear Son, (Col 1:13 REB)
He will be great, and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David, and he will be king over Israel for ever; his reign shall never end.’ (Luke 1:32-33 REB)
It is clear therefore that he spoke as a prophet who knew that God had sworn to him that one of his own direct descendants should sit on his throne; and when he said he was not abandoned to death, and his flesh never saw corruption, he spoke with foreknowledge of the resurrection of the Messiah. Now Jesus has been raised by God, and of this we are all witnesses. Exalted at God’s right hand he received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit, and all that you now see and hear flows from him. For it was not David who went up to heaven; his own words are: “The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.’” (Acts 2:30-35 REB)
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has set us free from our sins with his blood, (Rev 1:5 REB)
Simon has described how it first happened that God, in his providence, chose from among the Gentiles a people to bear his name. This agrees with the words of the prophets: as scripture has it, Thereafter I will return and rebuild the fallen house of David; I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again, that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, all the Gentiles whom I have claimed for my own. Thus says the Lord, who is doing this as he made known long ago. (Acts 15:14-18 REB)
Since the children share in flesh and blood, he too shared in them, so that by dying he might break the power of him who had death at his command, that is, the devil, and might liberate those who all their life had been in servitude through fear of death. (Heb 2:14-15 REB)
‘Now my soul is in turmoil, and what am I to say? “Father, save me from this hour”? No, it was for this that I came to this hour...Now is the hour of judgement for this world; now shall the prince of this world be driven out. (John 12:27, 31 REB)
and in reliance on God I hold the hope, which my accusers too accept, that there is to be a resurrection of good and wicked alike. (Acts 24:15 REB)
It is his will that I should not lose even one of those he has given me, but should raise them all up on the last day. (John 6:39 REB)
There is a judge for anyone who rejects me and does not accept my words; the word I have spoken will be his judge on the last day. (John 12:48 REB)
Do not be surprised at this, because the time is coming when all who are in the grave shall hear his voice and come out: those who have done right will rise to life; those who have done wrong will rise to judgement. (John 5:28-29 REB)
‘Yet about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, not even the Son; no one but the Father alone...Hold yourselves ready, therefore, because the Son of Man will come at the time you least expect him. (Matt 24:36, 44 REB)
About dates and times, my friends, there is no need to write to you, for you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. (1Thess 5:1-2 REB)
(‘See, I am coming like a thief! Happy the man who stays awake, and keeps his clothes at hand so that he will not have to go naked and ashamed for all to see!’) (Rev 16:15 REB)
Errors can come in prophetic expectations by rejecting clear statements of scripture because we can't fully understand the "how".
